Lucy's Party was just great. We had at Grandma and Papa Croslands house Saturday night! She has a fabulous castle cake, a cute little pink candy bar, and some great homemade ice cream! I don't have her invitation with me, but I will get some pictures up here!  Thank you COLEEN! She is amazing and pretty much did everything for her party... Her theme was 'Once Upon a Time' and everyone brought her the cutest books, among other fabulous things. Our little Queen is pretty spoiled!  I still can't believe she is already ONE! Queen Lucy is now ONE YEAR OLD! Can you even believe it? Because I cannot. It seems just yesterday I was this gigantic whale just waiting for my little princess to join our family. She was so tiny and precious. All the sudden. BAM. Walking, jibber jabbering all the time, dancing, laughing, etc... She has been the best baby a mom could ask for. She is SO happy, sleeps SO good- most the time, and So much fun! We love her more than life itself. Cant' wait to celebrate this Saturday! Love you Miss Lu Bean! P.S. Can you tell I had to take pictures of her two different days? This was the first day, and let's just say it was unsuccessful. Apparently Queen Lucy does NOT like her crown.

a good girls weekend is needed every once in a while if you ask me. definitely. friday my friends michelle and emily came down and we went and saw cute camryn- shelley's new baby girl. ah so precious.  friday night we went up to midway with cheryl and her fiance kyle. his family has a beautiful cabin/home up there. we went to a little pizza place and hung out. saturday we had a fabulous girls night. we all went to dinner at chili's, and then hung out at meg's and paige's. i love my friends. we need to get together more often! ashley, tiff, and paige me, meg, and nicole seriously lucy was having SO much fun with Kaiden! He is so so cute. he kept trying to pick her up, hug her, etc... they were so funny together.

our first christmas together tyler got me a few 'certificates' his little sister jessi made them. obviously. one was that he would take me skiing anywhere i wanted to go, and he would come. the winter went by... and the next one... and the next one... you get the idea. i thought it would never happen. lucky for me, our brother in law luke's family owns a ski shop. and we got free tickets to go to deer valley yesterday with our favorites luke and amy! it was So so fun. tyler tried to tell me he was a horrible skiier.... and he is definitely not! I can't wait to take him again!!

yesterday i went to lunch with some of my favorite friends. meg and paigey. why don't i have a picture of paige? no idea. don't worry. i'll snatch one this weekend.  my cute little friend is moving, and taking her two cute darling kids with her! Lucy had so much fun playing with Kaiden, and trying to attack Sami.... haha. I need to get some pictures of the two of them together, Kaiden is such a doll and is also giving Lucy hugs! I love you girls. Look at you Meg.. such a natural! and p.s. my giant baby WALKS!!! she just started like taking off all over the place yesterday! like 15 steps at a time. she is such a champ. and... started giving kisses. even though they are open mouthed... i love them! =)

happy love day to all. even though im a little late! we had a fantabulous lovers weekend. saturday tyler went to the boat show with his friends, while i was lazy at home with lu. and that night we got dressed to kill- obviously. haha.... and he took me to California Pizza Kitchen- one of our favs. down to Zupas to get some fabulous chocolate covered strawberrys and over to blockbuster to rent a movie. and then we didn't watch our movie and enjoyed the olympics until about midnight. anything better? i think not. attack him lucy attack! but really tyler says, "lucy where are you?" and then she tries to climb down to see him! so cute. sunday we had chocolate chip pancakes for the second time this week...=) went to church  and headed to kaysville to help spread the word that... Cheryl is ENGAGED!! yay yay yay! Kyle purposed. Phew. hahaha. we are all so excited and can't wait for them to get hitched.

lulu completed her 3 week swimming course today! we're so proud. even if she did miss a whole week of the class due to being sick... =) grandma carrie came to watch her on wednesday. needless to say the fact that grandma was there made her especially excited to be there! this week has been great. my mom came down wednesday and we made sugar cookies and shopped a little for my brother and his wife's little BOY coming in july! Yay for Shawn and Mel! Lucy is so excited to have a little cousin! tyler and i also went and saw the movie 'valentines day' this afternoon. not the greatest movie in the whole world, but i definitely enjoyed it! looking forward to love day!
