my mom, clara, and i at candace's region drill competition this wednesday... SOOOO.... we move in a week.  one week people. i'm a little bit dying, sad, anxious, excited, and stressed. but not too stressed or sad, to be cramming in as much as we can these last couple weeks here in utah! anywho. wednesday was little can's region drill comp.... bonnie and jessi were awesome and watched little miss lu while i headed up with my mom and clara to watch can.... other than military being the most down-right frightening thing i have ever seen,  it was rather enjoyable! haha.. girls just shouldn't growl and yell like that, it's weird! =) Candace danced beautifully and their jazz, and character numbers were amazing! (as was their military, sans growling!) They placed 2nd in all of their routine and did great, i'm excited to watch them at state this friday! Thursday we met up with our friends Izzy & Macie for lunch at Mc'D's! I picked up ...

So, I am a loser and have no pictures... what the heck? Life has been a little crazy, Sorry kids! just a little update on what has been going on lately... after I got home from north dakota we have just been trying to get as much play time in as we can! Lucy has still had playgroup the last couple weeks with her cute friends izzy & macie. She loves, loves, playgroup and has a ball with her two cute friends! We had a relief society activity this last week with Deni from The Biggest Loser-- it was fun to hear from her, and loved that she referred to Diet coke as 'Satan's juice'... hahaha.... Like I didn't already know! It's always good to talk about, and get more motivated to live healthier. I think we do an O.K. job, but we could definitely do better. I hate fast food, so we don't have much of a problem there, but I do love to go out. Cafe rio... yum. Lucy actually LOVES fruit, and we're trying to eat more veggies. my mom spells everything- did you know that? She is great. Now I tell lucy all the time, "Let's get your B-U-T in the T-U-B!". Classic Mom. Anywho. I haven't been able to fall asleep lately, so as it turns out I have just been staying up really late, and putting on a movie for Lucy every morning, giving Clara a bottle, and pray that Clara will fall back asleep while I snooze next to Lucy for an extra hour! Haha. Good Parenting 101. I should write a book, right!? Well, do this thinking time up late, and mainly because my hubby is gone, so my adult interaction is at an all time low, I have been doing lots of thinking. I like to think that I have 'grown up' a little in the last year or so. I will admit, I can be a pretty worldly person, but I find myself more and more, wishing I could homeschool my little girlies and save them from all the scary things out there.  Why Yes, yes that is the world's largest cow you are looking at!  Welcome to North Dakota everyone!  This was just one of the many wonders on the 'enchanted highway' from Bismarck to Dickinson... So, I ended up leaving the kiddos with grandma 1, and grandma 2, and made the trek out to see Tyler this past weekend. I flew out Friday night to Minneapolis, had a quick layover, and then flew into Minot to meet Ty! He gave me a quick tour, and we headed to bed to get up and make the drive down to Dickinson. We do have a really nice apartment waiting for us in Minot, but there is more business in Dickinson, so we are hoping to find somewhere to live there! The problem is the housing is ridiculous there! They want $3,000 to rent a mobile home-- Seriously. It's outrageous! The oil companies just have so many workers that they are trying to find housing for, and they will just pay whatever it takes to get housing, so people can charge really whatever they want. saturday i went to my cute friend Nicole's baby shower-- she is darling, and let's just say her baby girl will be very well taken care of! haha. Yay for first grandbabies! =) While we were playing in the snow, and seeing cute girl friends, Tyler was doing this: after Nicole's shower we met up with our hubby's for a late bit to eat at Salt City Burger-- it's easily becoming our favorite burger place. Just in time to move! Love these girls! we're sure going to miss these cute friends!

We've been getting our play on this week! Tyler took the week off of work before starting his new job, and we had so much fun playing with our family. Friday we headed to Discovery Gateway with Grandma Bonnie, and Amy, Blake, and Callie. The girls had so much fun, and we had a fabulous lunch after at Applebees with Papa Jeff!

I believe the initial form of excitement (if you can even call it that), and somewhat of a denial I had during the holidays is over. i do have to start by saying that i know we are making a good decision, and that we are very lucky, etc... because it's true. even though it's a good thing, a little bit of panic is starting to set in. we are MOVING TO NORTH DAKOTA!! I haven't been able to sleep. Who moves there? Seriously. I can honestly say, that NEVER in my lifetime did I think I would be moving there. And leaving here! Ah, we had such a good summer. Finally, finally, some close friends who were, and are so good to me. Playing at Cherry Hill whenever we wanted to. Swimming in our pool. Hoping in the car and driving 15 minutes to grandma's when we were bored. Paces. Family. Living by my cute sister in law. and sweet Lucy who LOVES her friends- not to mention her favorite person in the whole world, her cousin Blake! Cute Amy & Luke had us over for dinner tonig...

  one of my best friends, michelle, had us all over for a girls night on monday! our friends paige & ashley were in town for the holidays, and it just worked out to get together on the night of the bachelor premiere! (Yay!) Even though we talked and missed most of it... It was so fun to see everyone- we don't get together nearly enough. Thanks for having us Mich!
