Baby Update...

Went to the Doc again today--- Im now full term, so she could come anyday now and I would just love it! Doc says she probably isn't coming tonight though- dangit. Mom is happy though since she gets home from Hawaii tomorrow with my papa. They most certainly did not miss anything. Any tips on how to get this baby coming? I still feel ok, but Im not gaining weight anymore or getting any bigger and she just keeps moving like crazy, so I really think she is just all done and ready to come out. Let's hear your tips ladies- I'm ready! P.S. To be honest- I still think it will be a couple weeks. OH well.

Rebuttle

I decided after silence for so many months that i would make a post. This is actually my very first one. I would like to defend myself against the post Carly made yesterday. Yes I was embarrassed yesterday at our breast feeding class, and yes I laughed out loud a few times. Not once was I laughing because of the words breast or nipple. I was laughing because during the movie on breast feeding, all of the other men were watching this movie very intently. It was pretty much starring!! The problem was when i noticed all of the perverts!! I started laughing and then Carly noticed me laughing so i laughed even harder and then i realized that everyone noticed I was laughing and i assummed that they thought I was a immature because I was laughing and then my face turned bright red. So Yes i am immature because I was embarrassed about the movie but I am not so immature that i laugh at the word breast and nipple!!

Tyler

Our conversation in bed last night as were cuddleing with a massive belly (Lucy) in between us: Tyler randomly says as Im almost asleep, " Its a good thing you're not fat" Me: Why? (wondering why on earth he could be saying this at a time when I am already ginormous) Tyler: Because if you were fat and then got pregnant you would be HUGE. (with all sense of seriousness and exaggeration in his voice) We also attended the last and final session to our 'prenatal class'- the breastfeeding section. Tyler is embarassed everytime the woman teaching says, "Breast", and won't watch the movie due to nipples and 'breasts' being shown. His head is down and laughing silently.... He just couldn't figure out why no one else in the class thought that nothing was funny. It was like a 5th grader in maturation for the first time. He has also been extremely grossed out by everything we have heard in that class for the last 3 weeks to the point of leaving the ...

Some wonderful Food!

Image
Last night we had the wonderful experience to eat some wonderful food! Our friend Tanya is in the culinary program at UVU and they put on a restaurant at the Mckay events center called Greg's, and it is amazing! This week the 'theme' was Mexican, and it was amazing. There are only like 10-20 tables in there so you have to have a reservation, and they serve you an appetizer, soup, salad, entree, and dessert- all for only $19!! They are imitating gourmet restaurants too, so everything is beautiful and tastes amazing! We have been to a few pretty pricey nice restaurants, and this food was definately right up there with them, and you got about triple the food for your money! I highly recommend it for all you dinner goers, like me and Tyler! We enjoyed some wonderful food, and might even be back next week for the 'Italian' theme! If I were you I would call and make a reservation to go! It's delicious. Here are some pics from our fun night of dressing up and eating go...

Say a little prayer...

I dont' know how many of you know the Eddy family- but they have been our good family friends since we moved to Kaysville about 11 years ago. Brooke- who is my age, recently got married, and just a couple weeks ago had a beautiful baby girl, Kimberly Mae (named after their mom...). Unfortunately little Kimberly passed away this week. Please just keep their family in your prayers. I know little Kimberly is in a much better place, but I can't even imagine the heartache of losing a child. We are so blessed to have the gosple in our lives, and to know we can all be together with our families again one day. Keep Brooke and her husband Eria in your thoughts and prayers.

Bored..

So due to my child coming I am not going to school this semester- which I actually am quite thrilled about- however- this leaves me with a LOT of free TIME on my hands. Let me explain my frustration- I have really nothing scheduled during the day- if I have anything it's my cheer class which is A1 (7:15-8:45am), or a game or practice in the evening, so my days are quite long... As wonderful as this is, because I know I am going to have NO SLEEP coming soon, I am starting to get so bored-- but, here is the problem. I have all of these things I want to get done around the house, but by the time I get one thing done my back is hurting so bad, and I am so exhausted that I feel like I can't do anything anymore. Therefore- there is always one part of my house that is clean and looking great, and then there is me dead on the couch, or out cold on my bed for a nap. Other things that will also put me out are: putting together random items of furniture (apparantly my baby doesn't lik...

Baby Shower #1!!

Image
My cute friends Megan and Paige threw me my first baby shower on Saturday! (Thank you thank you!!) I got some wonderful gifts, and it was so fun to see everyone that I never ever get to see! I swear me and tyler are not that socially retarted, but apparantly we are! I'm almost 36 wks along now- so im counting down! Give me 2 more weeks and then I'll start jumping on the tramp, and doing whatever possible to get little Lucy out of me! I am terrified of going late- this girl in my ward (who is TINY by the way...) just had her baby like 10 days late and her little girl was 9lbs 7oz!! (They had to do a C-section...) I swear me and Tyler couldn't make a baby that big- but her and her husband are both little too! Im starting to have the weirdest dreams, and Tylenol PM is becoming my friend.... =) Only one more month to go! Hopefully--- February 12th seems like a good day- we'll see what happens though! Oh- and I dyed my hair brown finally- my inch and half long roots were rea...

Light at the end of the tunnel...

So my due date is exactly six weeks from today! Yay! I went to the doctor again today and all is well. He was telling me they don't like to induce first time mom's because it can cause more C-sections, but he doesn't like them going too late either. So- I'm due February 20th, but no matter what they won't let me go past February 27th. I'm scheduled at the hospital on the 27th already, if by chance I haven't already had my baby! But i'm 37 wks Jan 31st, and as soon as that hits I think I'll be ready! I'm aiming for February 12th. It still seems like a long ways away, but its nice to have a date to look forward too! I'm really really nervous for labor and all that fun stuff, but Im hoping that by February I'll be so ready to have this baby out of me that I won't really care! We just want a healthy little girl! Only one more month filled with 2 more cheer competitions, basketball games, and baby showers! We can't wait to welcome lit...
