Baby Shower #1!!

My cute friends Megan and Paige threw me my first baby shower on Saturday! (Thank you thank you!!) I got some wonderful gifts, and it was so fun to see everyone that I never ever get to see! I swear me and tyler are not that socially retarted, but apparantly we are!

I'm almost 36 wks along now- so im counting down! Give me 2 more weeks and then I'll start jumping on the tramp, and doing whatever possible to get little Lucy out of me! I am terrified of going late- this girl in my ward (who is TINY by the way...) just had her baby like 10 days late and her little girl was 9lbs 7oz!! (They had to do a C-section...) I swear me and Tyler couldn't make a baby that big- but her and her husband are both little too! Im starting to have the weirdest dreams, and Tylenol PM is becoming my friend.... =) Only one more month to go! Hopefully--- February 12th seems like a good day- we'll see what happens though! Oh- and I dyed my hair brown finally- my inch and half long roots were really getting to me! Im trying to slowly go back to my natural color with out going gray in the process.     Carly, those are cute pics. You look so great pregnant, and i'm not just saying that! My face got so swollen. I went back my natural color before I had Macie, best thing ever!!! You will love labor and delivery, blow off what everyone else says, it is so great! I don't know if I was just lucky, but I wasn't in any pain and I just took it all in and enjoyed it!! We should talk soon. Lucy and Macie will need to meet

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
