if you just sang that chicago song, you are not alone. how cute is my little lucy jane? darling. i know. saturday we hung out at our local park with daddy. i have a bajillion pictures from there... but that's ok. we have fun! LOVE this picture. i believe she is watching someone play with a ball... very fascinating. Today... Sunday... Memorial Day... my parents and little can came down and we headed to spanish fork to the cemetery. my grandma, and great grandparents are all buried there, and it is such a pretty place. afterwards we got glades... only the best drive in EVER, and played at the park. classic. me trying to get tyler to smile for a picture. story of our lives! don't look too closely... cheryl forgot to wear pants. seriously. while there lucy learned how to drink out of a straw! i don't think she has ever given it that much effort to be honest, but today was the day. thanks kyle for letting us steal your lemonade. lucy loved it! while i was laying...

Happy 3 years baby! I seriously cannot believe it has been that long... Time sure flies when you are having fun! =) I can't believe where they road has taken us... I sure love my little family!

we're back from vegas.... much too short.. but much fun indeed! 3 years of marriage are celebrated this sunday... and we celebrated with a midweek trip to vegas... yes... we are that cheap. =) We stayed at the golden nugget... which was way way nicer than expected, and enjoyed relaxing by the hot tub each night, laying out at the pool, shopping... you know me, can't go anywhere without shopping... i know i know..., eating good food, and enjoying the sights of vegas... eating at the cheesecake factory for dinner... apparently it's become somewhat of a tradition to eat there, as we did last year as well, and well we've only been married 3 years... so, and really, i just love their cheesecake. the volcano at the mirage... just waiting for the lingerie show to start at t.i. it seriously is one now... don't take your kids. even though there were a TON of kids watching it.. a little weird... i think lucy would actually like vegas with all the lights and people, bu...

Saturday night we hung out at Quin and Heidi's and made the walk down to 'Fro-Yo'.  Yummm... Lucy didn't have a coat... so we improvised. Quin, and Heidi.... and their cute dog! P and Erika Saturday was also my good friend Haley's Bridal Shower... yes the I did blur out the front of the book she's holding... haha. I didn't realize the only picture i took of her, was of her and the sex book... Huh. Love you Hay!

So I have a lot to update on Miss Lucy Jane. She will be 15 months tomorrow! Holy cow... Latest things with miss jane... she LOVES beauty and the beast.- she will seriously sit on the couch and not move until the entire movie is over. Favorite words/phrases: mom, dad, hi, bye, she still waves to EVERYONE...., hot, cold, Up, ni- night, na-na (banana), ball, ba-ba, etc.... she isn't very articulate, but she is trying so hard to talk... so cute! oh she also says, 'all done', and 'please' in sign language.  she is obsessed with her ball... still. it's her first word every morning, she has to know where her ball is. she just walked over, turned on the tv, and walked back and sat down against the couch... she loves tv, and we really don't watch that much, because we only have like 4 channels. she will play in her crib for like an hour every morning before i get her out, she loves to play with her stuffed animals and books in there. speaking of books... she also LO...

How cute are Blake and Lucy? Usually they tend to hit each other... Lucy likes touching, Blake does not... I'm sure you can imagine how that goes. But yesterday they kept holding hands and walking around... So cute!

yay for summer! we had a fun bbq saturday night at em and zak's with all of my girly friends. how cute are we, right? lucy and i, michelle, emily, nicole, shelley, tiff, heather, and meg so good to see everyone! we are trying to make it a monthly ritual, hope it all works, i love seeing these girls! so heather's husband scott is like 8 ft tall. me and em, well are not. lucy and izzy. maybe one day we can get a cute picture of them! poor izzy.  i'm pretty sure lucy helped her tip over. afterwards we headed up to porter and heather's uncle's house to swim.
