cheerios.

my poor family.
sometimes i feel like all i think about is cheerios.
problem- I took 24 girls.
WHY ON EARTH DID I DO THIS?
next year no more than 18. Mark my words.

other problem- i sincerely like all 24 of them. I feel it's a little too early in the year to say, "Love".
I couldn't even cut 6 of them if I wanted to.
Sigh...
what on earth do you do with 24 high school girls?
I feel like there is a whole herd of them sometimes.
And honestly- I wanted to compete small this year- ya that is 12 girls. Only half the squad.
Pas Possible.
and can I really get away with only 16 competing? (still 8 alternates)
we'll see.

and why on earth do some girls think that tumbling isn't part of cheer?
my mind is boggled sometimes.
just get at LEAST your  backhand spring please.

    I feel ya girl! Me and my 26 D'Ettes... it is like there are a million of them! It is a little overwhelming at times... but yeah! I know how you feel for sure!! And we start practice today...

    And - don't hate me - I refused to even try to learn a backhand spring. Go cartwheels and toe-touches!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
