Miss Lucy.

So I have a lot to update on Miss Lucy Jane.
She will be 15 months tomorrow!
Holy cow...
Latest things with miss jane...
she LOVES beauty and the beast.- she will seriously sit on the couch and not move until the entire movie is over.
Favorite words/phrases:
mom, dad, hi, bye, she still waves to EVERYONE...., hot, cold, Up, ni- night, na-na (banana), ball, ba-ba, etc.... she isn't very articulate, but she is trying so hard to talk... so cute! oh she also says, 'all done', and 'please' in sign language. 
she is obsessed with her ball... still. it's her first word every morning, she has to know where her ball is.
she just walked over, turned on the tv, and walked back and sat down against the couch... she loves tv, and we really don't watch that much, because we only have like 4 channels.
she will play in her crib for like an hour every morning before i get her out, she loves to play with her stuffed animals and books in there.
speaking of books... she also LOVES those! She will walk over get a book, hand it to me, and back up to sit on my lap, then continue to turn to her favorite pages in that book that have animals on them, then finish the book- set it down, walk over get another one, hand it to me,.... etc.... we did this the other night for about 2 hours. No joke. 
She loves to be outside! (speaking of... why on earth did it snow today? it's MAY!!)
grandma bonnnie and papa jeff got a new net around their tramp, and i think she could play in there for hours.
she loves playing with friends/kids-- she will follow them around for hours, and loves loves loves to be the center of attention!
She is such a loving, sweet, friendly, little girl.
I can't believe how big she is getting!

This is the girl puppy, she was sleeping on Jessi's lap like this... So precious!


Ok and this is Lucy watching beauty and the beast... I kind of distracted her with my camera, but she seriously LOVES it! It's so funny because when I was like 4-5 yrs old I had everything Beauty and the Beast and Loved it!

    oh fun! she is darling and i can't believe how old she is. i swear you were just pregnant with her. it's amazing how time flies!

    She is such a cute little girl! I can't believe how grown up she is already. She seems like such a fun little girl to have around! I love all of her faces.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
