We just got back yesterday from a quick little trip down to St. George! My Dad was running the marathon for his 14th time! Unfortunately, I left my camera in the car when we went to the finish line to watch, but he did awesome! He ran a 2:58! It was so fun to be there at the finish line cheering on all those people who just ran their life away! I think someday I will run a marathon... I don't know when... but someday. It just has such a sense of accomplishment to it. I know it's crazy, but I want to say I did it! Our parents were nice enough to let us drive down with them, and we stayed at my grandpa's house down there. We just ate at the traditional 'China Palace' Friday night, and Saturday watched the race, grabbed some breakfast, me and Tyler took Lucy swimming, watched conference, and then My mom, Lucy, and I shopped while the men went to priesthood! We had an awesome time at Bear Lake this past week! I did the reservations this year, and  apparently  I rented us 'The House'. We stay at Sweetwater, or Ideal Beach and there is only one house on the whole property, the rest are condos. So we had room for 20 people, so my mom called and invited Coleen and her 3 kids up. Cheryl couldn't come because she started teaching 2nd grade last week! Other than that our whole family was there! We had a great time doing nothing... staying up late...eating junk food....sitting on the beach....etc... Im so sad summer is almost over! School is starting... the only good thing is it's almost my BIRTHDAY! yay. Enjoy the cute pics! 

SO we're home from Powell. It was marvelous! I didnt' think I took a lot of pictures at all... but apparantly I took plenty. Im stil waiting to get all of the good pictures from LUKE. (My brother in law who had his new camera glued to him the whole time. we got some classic pictures/footage!) The theme this year was i.gov (gratitude, ownership, and virtue.) Tyler's father just got called to be a Bishop the night before we left for our trip, and was ordained this Sunday in the University of Utah Singles 13th ward! Jeff is amazing. We had a wonderful anniversary weekend! Thanks for all the well wishes! Here is what our weekend consisted of: Dinner at the cheesecake factory... we ran into our good friends Porter and Erika! What are the chances? Then we headed to the Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake where we enjoyed.. well really I enjoyed... the cheesecake we got to GO! Mmmm... Then Saturday we went to Gateway and loved the great weather.. I also got some great shorts at Shade for $24.. and a fabulous smoothie and food at Tucanos! That evening we were maybe going to go boating, but due to the weather we just hung out and ended up watching 'New in Town' and eating Pizza the Croslands! (we were all out of going to dinner....) Then this morning we walked around liberty park and then headed to Kaysville to enjoy some family time and our Lake Powell meeting! We're pumped to go! Enjoy the pics! Sorry I am so behind on blogging. I have thought of a million things to blog about lately-- but they will just have to wait, because I need to blog about my trip me and Lucy took last weekend! But I just can't resist-- Did anyone see Paula as she was watching Adam perform tuesday night on american idol? OH it was hilarious- priceless. THEN- as she was giving him her crazy speech as to how amazing he is, which granted, he really is good, I'm just not a fan, She is rambling on, and Simon is giving her this look like, "what the hell are you talking about?" It's hilarioius. His face says exactly what I am thinking everytime she talks! You have to watch the clip sometime. ANYWAY. So, after deciding to leave my poor cute husband on his birthday me and Lucy took off to St. George with my mom, Coleen, and little Can Can for her dance competition!
