 here we are again. another incredibly random as of late post... but such is life at the moment! I can't believe we really haven't been on any sort of 'vacation' for 3 months now... (tear...) I know that sounds ridiculous, but HOLY COW, i'm ready to get the heck out of here! Counting down the days until Friday!!! I'm putting those girls in the car and heading to Utah! Am I crazy for driving 16 hrs by myself? Yes. Is it worth it? Totally. That being said, we do love it here. It's just so damn cold!! But how cute are these girlies? I can't believe how BIG Clara is! She wants to be just like Lucy and does everything she does, she says everything, and is such a spit fire! Holy cow! I love her and that little mullet she is still rockin'!  We've had a few babysitting nights where Clara got her first kiss from Ethan!  Lucy got this rocking chair for her birthday and refuses to sit in anything else! so i'm sure most of you know that north dakota is pretty boring... I mean, we love it here and everything, but the amount of things to do here is slim to none. So when in doubt, go to Target. Need a girls night out? Let's meet at Target after the kids are in bed. Have 30 minutes to kill before you need to pick up Lucy from pre-school? Go to Target. Tyler's in Dickinson and the kids need to get out of the house? Heck, let's go to Target! Saw something cute on Instagram that someone got from Target? Well freak, you better get to Target! Anyway. You get the idea.... I'm at Target a lot. I also love to shop. Now I have to defend myself a little, we have no credit card debt and pay off our am-x every month in full. I don't go crazy shopping, but I do have a bad habit of picking up $10 shirt for Lucy here, there, and everywhere. Especially at Target. So after feeling pretty attached to Target I decided that I needed to quit cold turkey. I'm not shopping at Targe...

I can't believe my little Lucy-goose is 4 now! Ah! It seems so long ago, but also not so long ago that she was just born! It was like a different world then! So crazy. Lucy is the best. She is still my little social butterfly, life of the party, happy-go-lucky, fun girl. She is so imaginative and could play by herself in her room for hours on end. She also asks to go to her 'friends' house every. single. day. She loves singing, dancing, and practicing hand-stands and cartwheels. She loves to be the center of attention, but is so kind to everyone. She loves making new friends, and is very good about including friends and making people feel welcome. She loves coloring and writing and has recently decided she wants to learn how to write letters-- (finally? she has been able to read them all and tell you their sounds for over a year! her motor skills came a little slower than some, but I swear, once she learned how to skip a LOT of things clicked for her!
