My sweetest, chunky-est, sweetest, lovable, kissable, cutest baby in the whole world is 7 months old now! AH! Can you even believe it? I cannot. I know I am so biased, but she is the cutest baby in the world. Seriously-- she is the best baby EVER. I so needed her in my life right now, and I am so so so thankful for her! She is such a joy in our lives and brings out the best in our family, and especially her sweet big sister Lucy. I love the special bond they have, and they are so so cute together. I feel like the luckiest woman in the whole world when my cute babies are sleeping in the middle of the day after a full morning of playing together! It's so peaceful and quiet and I know they are well fed, happy, and all snuggled in their beds having good dreams!  I think some might say that that's kind of sad that my favorite part of the day is during nap time-- but I have good reasons! It's so peaceful, and I know they are safe and happy! =) Hopefully you other mom...

We had such a fabulous Thanksgiving this year!  I love LOVE the long weekend, and just relaxing with family! Definitely not looking forward to Tyler going back to work on Monday.... but love the Holiday season! We spent Thanksgiving this year at the Crosland's home, and had such a nice relaxing time eating wonderful food and hanging out! Later that afternoon we went to see 'Puss and Boots'--- Lucy LOVED it. Me- well, Lucy liked it! =)  We are so so grateful for our wonderful families and such a wonderful Holiday! Mainly I'm grateful for these two cute girls! Haha. I feel I should start this post with some humor--- Tonight we went through the In&Out Drive Through. Lucy told me she had to pee--- Well, Lucy mentioned it earlier at target too, but wouldn't go there, and Clara was asleep in her car seat, the restaurant was busy and parking lot pretty full, so I did what any responsible mother would do. Took her out of her car seat, pulled down her panties, and let her pee on the asphalt right next to the car! While still in line in the drive through of course... We were the last car in line, until a great big suburban pulled up just in time to shine it's lights right on little Lucy peeing!  It was awesome. I think I laughed for like 5 minutes straight afterwards. Let's hope Lucy doesn't pick up peeing on the street now though! if you only knew how much i love this little girl of mine! man o man, she's giving me a run for my money! Where to begin? Lucy & Blake playing at Grandma's in their princess dresses! I have been a complete slacker at taking pictures lately, so I had to steal this off of my mother-in-law's blog-- Thanks Bonnie! You never thought I would be stealing pictures from you, right!? Haha. We have been busy lately, but just never seem to get the camera out for such everyday things! potty training was a rough week for me. Haha. I laugh now, but I knew it would be hard for me, and well- it was. Not much more to say! We don't do well just 'staying home'. and for 3 days straight I think i was going crazy-- I even had a fun girls night in the middle of that at my friend emily's house, and really- I think Lucy was just driving me crazy. Bless her- and I love her dearly. I really didn't even mind the whole clean up pee & poop thing- I think I'm just used to that at this point, she would sometimes just want to sit on the potty for like 20 minutes for fun, then get off,...

Oh sweet Lucy. She missed her nap yesterday, and while Tyler was helping me make dinner, we looked over to find her sound asleep watching Mary Poppins on the ipod... That girl does not do well without a 2 hour nap. Seriously! She is such a sweet little girl, and such a great big sister! If you ask her how old she is, she will say, "I 2 and a half. Blakey's 3." I always call her and Clara girl 1, and girl 2-- and she always tells me, "No mom, I 2 and a half." She also LOVES to sing- She sings along to every song on the radio, and when I say sing along I mean usual joins in on the last word of the sentence and tells me all the time, "Mom- I a good singer!" Her favorite song is 'I'm gunna be a Mighty King' From the Lion King, and she always asks to sing the 'Lion King' song and knows almost every word and also dances to it. One of the beginning dance classes I taught way back in the day did a dance to that, so I taug...

babies make me feel like I am a wonderful mother. life is SO simple for a baby. You as a mother have everything they need to make them happy and content- you feed them, change their diaper, let them sleep, and give them your love and attention... and yep. that's about it. Clara is seriously the most beautiful baby ever, and she makes me so so happy. It's nice to have some reassurance that I am making her feel so happy and loved! I hope I am still doing that with Lucy- even if she does have temper tantrums 100x a day... =) I have always loved babies... I think I may just keep having children just to have babies! haha. Just don't remind me they grow up eventually!  and one of my best friends, Michelle, had her beautiful baby girl- Ruby Mae yesterday! I was so excited to go see her today... My girls are still coveting all that hair her babies have! Ah, she is absolutely gorgeous! Congrats Michelle & Marcus, we love her already! ...

 Lucy is becoming a crazy napper. Sometimes it takes her like an hour to fall asleep, but if she does- it's usually a 2-3 hour nap. It's the greatest blessing! =) Currently her and Clara have both been asleep for about 2 hours... I just went to go check on Lucy and this is what I found... an empty bed! At first i thought she was in her 'playroom' (aka: walk-in closet) playing with her kitchen, but nope, I turned around to find this: she is so funny- she never even made a peep or knocked at the door...(we lock her in now- yep, we're 'those' kind of parents. Haha.) Also, I spoke too soon, last night Lucy peed in her bed 3 times. Yep, 3. and got up and peed all over the floor outside of the bathroom, and then as I put her down for her nap, she pooped in her panties. Bless her. and please oh please give me some patience. Thank goodness she is so dang cute. Love you Miss Jane!

We have big news. Dare I say it?? Lucy is now potty trained! I have been dreading potty training her... seriously dreading. She has been 'ready' for a few months now- or so 'they' tell me. haha. We finally cleared our calendars this last week, Nov 1-3 and stayed home to tackle the job! She has actually done really well- she tells us everytime she has to pee, and really has only had a few accidents, all outside of our house. she has also been sleeping in her panties too!  she just struggles with the whole poop thing. =) It's been a full week now without diapers and she has only pooped on the potty i think 3 times- she just hides and poops in her panties-- awesome right? Well considering all the horror stories I have heard, she really has been fairly easy!  I am so proud of her, and can't believe how big she is now! Seriously. She is a little girl now! and just cuz they're cute... here's my 2 cute girls in the tub tonight. Love t...
