Happy Half Clara Mae!


I cannot believe she is 6 months old. a whole half a year- tear!!
I wish babies could stay babies forever.... Here are her 6 month stats:

Weight: 16 lbs 1 oz- 53%
Height: 25 in- 25%
Head: 43 cm- 67%

The biggest news is that Clara is officially sitting up! I just need a good picture now!
She is now having a bottle about every other feeding-- my milk is just slowly going away- dangit!
She drinks about 6 oz, my little chunk, and is eating fruits and veggies twice a day.
She takes a couple-ish naps during the day, and has currently been asleep today from like 10:30 to 2:30?? What the heck? I'm potty training Lucy this week, so i've been really focused on Lucy today and I just realized she had been asleep that long-- what the?
Anyway. She's the cutest sweetest little thing ever. She did great with her shots and is healthy as can be.

Friday, her actual 'half-birthday' haha.... Amy and I took her and Callie to get their ears pierced!
It was totally chaotic at the gateway due to some convention down there, but we got the task done and the girls look darling! My mom thinks it's totally baby torture, but honestly- she already had tylenol in her from going to get her 6 month shots, and she cried for maybe 15 seconds while they did it, and then was totally fine! She looks like a little princess. Love her.



plus- yesterday, Halloween! Clara rode in the shopping cart for the first time! She is so dang cute, I had to document it. I know her bow is ginormous, but it's her halloween bow ok? I just love her!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
