7 months.


My sweetest, chunky-est, sweetest, lovable, kissable, cutest baby in the whole world is 7 months old now! AH! Can you even believe it?
I cannot.
I know I am so biased, but she is the cutest baby in the world.
Seriously-- she is the best baby EVER. I so needed her in my life right now, and I am so so so thankful for her! She is such a joy in our lives and brings out the best in our family, and especially her sweet big sister Lucy. I love the special bond they have, and they are so so cute together. I feel like the luckiest woman in the whole world when my cute babies are sleeping in the middle of the day after a full morning of playing together! It's so peaceful and quiet and I know they are well fed, happy, and all snuggled in their beds having good dreams! 
I think some might say that that's kind of sad that my favorite part of the day is during nap time-- but I have good reasons! It's so peaceful, and I know they are safe and happy! =) Hopefully you other moms can relate. Haha. I really do love my two little girls.

Clara Mae is such a big girl now! It breaks my heart-- but she is at the absolute best age ever.
She is sitting like a champ. Her TWO bottom teeth just popped through! (Like it was nothin'... I remember being up all night for like a week when Lucy got her first teeth! Geez! Clara is a champ!) She is officially done nursing- I'm kind of bummed, but my milk just kind of went away right around 6 months-ish-- I stretched it as long as I could!
She loves her binky, but is not so attached to it like Lucy was, and loves snuggling with her little aden & anais blankets. She loves them up by her face and usually goes right to sleep.
She takes about 3 naps a day, and is sleeping from about 9-8 every night now- awesome! She is having 6 oz bottles every few hours, and eats a thing of baby food for lunch and dinner. She loves to spit while she eats! Love it.

I have to say, my favorite thing about Clara are her bright blue eyes and her BIG smile!
She always has the biggest grin on her face and is showing off those little gums! She smacks her gums all the time, and loves sucking on her tongue-- she sounds like an old man. It's so funny.
She loves to clap her hands, and bounces and gets so excited when Lucy's 'dancing' music comes on!
She is so chunky and has the cutest rolls, but I think Lucy still was chubbier... So cute though. She is just the sweetest thing and loves to be held and snuggle with you.
We're finally getting on a pretty good schedule and Clara is always so so happy as long as she is fed and has her naps. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better baby.

a little about Lucy...
She has become quite the dancer. Her footwork is rather amazing if I do say so myself... Hahaha... I need to put a video up, but she sings the whole song and knows a dance to 'I just can't wait to be King'.... and sings long to every other disney song out there. She LOVES singing.
She is a character and is an excellent talker now- I knew she would get there one day! =)
She is still SO accident-prone and is tough as nails!
In order to let me do her hair, I ask her if she wants me to do her hair like a Princess!
The answer is always 'Yes, a Cinderella Hair!'
She loves to run so fast and race everywhere, she locks us out of wherever there is a lock now, so the screw driver is always close by!

There is always more that I'm forgetting, but I love these two girls more than anything!

Also-- Thanks for the positive comments on my 'gratitude' post-- It's nice to hear your nice comments and words of wisdom! ... and things with us really are so good.
I know things will never be perfect, but we have so much to be thankful for, especially during this Holiday season!
We are so blessed to be living in a such a wonderful apartment with an amazing ward, Tyler has a job, our girls are happy and healthy, and we have our amazing family close by. I really couldn't ask for anything more!
I feel like my whole generation is so materialistic. Me included. I am trying so hard to live more in the moment, rather than always worrying about, and trying to plan for the future. I need to focus on the now- what my family needs now, and what I can do to be better now. I also need to remember to serve more and be more selfless. My parents and Tyler's parents are such wonderful examples to us, and we are so grateful for them and all they do for us.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
