i had the most wonderful weekend. we went up to kaysville... so that i could ski. did you know i love to ski? because i do. snowbasin is my all-time favorite resort. it is truly the best. i went with my mom, dad, and older brother shawn. tyler stayed home with lulu... =) the snow was amazing.... and today my legs kill. it was amazing. im hoping i can go at least one more time this year! i miss the days of highschool when i had a season pass and would ditch school once a week to ski.... if only if only.... at the top of 'lone tree' above strawberry about to ski down you can see the middle bowl lodge and gondola in the distance! beautiful! yes. we do all have matching helmets. cool? yes. also- momentous occasion. Lucy is now in her 'big girl' seat in the car! Yay! She loves it... She is also sick today... we don't know if she is allergic to the cats at the Croslands and has a cold, or just has one nasty cold. she sounds like death- poor girl. can't wait to take he...

So Lucy started swimming lessons on Monday. Here she is already to go to class yesterday! My mom got her this adorable cover up with matching swim suit. She is an only grandchild okay? and my mom really likes to shop... there are only two other little girls in her class, and so far she seems to really like it! she loves swimming- but with it being right at when she usually naps she seems a little more 'mellow' than she would normally be. Plust the water is a little cold! I think my mom is coming down one day to watch so hopefully I will have better pictures then! Lucy is getting SO fun. but SO busy! She is constantly walking with her walker, or along the couch, or on me everywhere we go we just bought her her first toothbrush too. she now likes to rip her headbands out.... sad day. she loves books, and pointing and laughing and everything in them. she loves it when daddy comes home and crawls right over to him and waits for him to pick her up! we did her first 'ponytail...

currently- i hate money. first and foremost: i am happy. truly happy. we live in a wonderful apartment, we both have good jobs, tyler gets to go to school, and we have the most adorable daughter. I really couldn't ask for anything more. but. money is stressful. insurance is stressful. even though i really wouldn't want our lives any other way right now... i look forward to the day when we are no longer poor. i KNOW by that time we will have plenty of other problems... but i would like to have some financial security to know that we could have another baby right now if we wanted it. and not worry about how we would pay for the doctors bills, and insurance once he/she gets here. we're told to 'multiply and replenish the earth' right? its not looking very possible for quite sometime. i wish maybe i could go back to school someday in the near future and maybe one day have a dishwasher and buy lucy an outfit from gap every once in a while... =) and maybe being able to af...

this weekend was great. busy- but great. Saturday was my cute friend Shelley's baby shower- so we headed up North. It was so fun to see all of my cute friends- we are never all together anymore, and when we are sometimes li feel like i'm in high school again- weird. Yes. but usually very entertaining! Both Shelley and Paigey are due this month- I can't wait to see their little girls! thanks em and mich for a wonderful shower... oh, and the soup. =) my cute mama babysat little miss lucy while I went to see 'AVATAR'! it really was so much better than i thought it was going to be- but i'm definitely not a fan of 3d glasses... or forgetting my own! later that night I went over to Paige's and saw my other friends- Megan, Heather and Haley. I saw all my friends in one day- miraculous? Yes. I think we forget how funny we all are... haha. Not really. But we sure think so! Paige, Nicole, Emily Michelle, Chelsie, Me, Shelley, and Tiffany Michelle's little girl Isa...

Today has been kind of an 'Off' Day... You know those days where you just want to sleep all day... watch movies... do nothing... eat... I used to have those days. And then I had a baby. I did however take a nap when Lucy did, and watched '27 Dresses'... well most of it anyway. it's a good thing lucy's cute. I eventually snapped out of this 'funk', got in the tub... (Yes the tub. Did you know i get in the tub almost every day? And Tyler twice a day? Who knew...) Then Lucy and I went to the mall. Who doesn't get out of a funk when shopping? Seriously. While in her stroller she had me take off her coat, then removed herself- her headband, both shoes, and a sock. She looked a bit homeless.... I think we're getting to that stage. Have i mentioned that she now has her TOP LEFT TOOTH!!! It was a momentous day. 4 months later... she finally got another tooth. How big is Lucy? "SO BIG!!!" Yay Lucy! Yesterday my cute mother and second mother came...

So it's sunday night. Lucy is in bed. Tyler is listening to his book on his ipod. I am blogging. Guess what we watched tonight? FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF I honestly think that was only like the 2nd time i had ever seen that. It kind of reminds me of Tyler.... haha. But seriously. So funny. If you haven't seen it in a while you should. Looking forward to Tyler not having school tomorrow. We're going up to Nordstrom Rack to buy Tyler a suit. I'm making dinner. Then I am watching the Bachelor! I'm also going to be reading a book. All the time. Good goal eh? Me and the Orem Library are going to become great friends. That way I figure I wont' waste time doing such other mindless things. Like blogging. =) Just kidding. Sort of. Well. Sometimes. I'm also going running tomorrow. Hope the air is better enough that it won't kill me. I'll let you know if I really go tomorrow... By the way... Lucy is seriously the loudest kid in church. By like 10x any other ...

This weekend was busy, required a lot of driving... but was fun. Tyler's cousin Joey recently got married and they had a reception for him up in Bear Lake. We drove up yesterday... (Left the squirt with my mama...) We had a rather entertaining car ride with Tyler, me, Jessi, and Kevin and the time flew! We enjoyed good food and seeing family while we were up there then made the trek back down! Me, Jeff, Tyler, and Joey Blake, Jessi, Amy, Lexi, Jen, Kathy, and Jon and what the heck. I think my daughter is cute ok? ALSO. We are selling our Love Sac.... Sorry Shawn. We just dont' have room in our apartment anymore! Tear... We got it for our wedding, and it has hardly been used at all. It is in excellent condition. 6'. $100. Let me know if you want it! and... SOLD. Sorry guys. We got $130 on KSL.

Well. Not to much going on here. Tyler is back to school... back to work... I'm back to work... playing with Lucy.... We have just been hanging out. Really nothing too exciting. SO. Sometimes I really don't want to watch TV at night. But I get so bored. What else can I do? During the day I play with Lucy most of the time. Read stories, play blocks, etc... But at night... ideas?? Here's a few random pictures from the week... Tyler and Lucy watching her movie before church. Playing at Grandma's house this week! and this is some of my girls this morning at Smiths. Yes at Smiths. They did some cheers at one of their corporate meetings. It was hilarious. If i knew how to put up videos on here I would. It was so funny. And the best. Lucy has totally rocked this cheesy face lately. It is so funny. She looks like... oh I don't even know. She is just getting so funny. We love her!

Ok Seriously. the Bachelor. It is SO cheesy. But so entertaining. Loving the title this year... Jake is a little TOO good for me, but is still cute. Michelle is a freaking PSYCHO. Seriously. WOW. I knew Rozalyn was a slut the whole time... can't wait for some sweet entertainment through the winter! i like ali, gia, kathryn... im sure there are more. Still too hard to narrow down at this point.

I love this. She reminds me of the little puppy on 101 Dalmatians. She just loves the TV. It's so funny. Also. Thanks Grandma for the cute new outfit from Gap. Ah. Their Spring Line is do DIE for!
