money.

currently- i hate money.

first and foremost:
i am happy.
truly happy.
we live in a wonderful apartment, we both have good jobs, tyler gets to go to school, and we have the most adorable daughter. I really couldn't ask for anything more.

but. money is stressful.
insurance is stressful.

even though i really wouldn't want our lives any other way right now...

i look forward to the day when we are no longer poor.
i KNOW by that time we will have plenty of other problems...
but i would like to have some financial security to know that we could have another baby right now if we wanted it.
and not worry about how we would pay for the doctors bills, and insurance once he/she gets here.
we're told to 'multiply and replenish the earth' right?
its not looking very possible for quite sometime.

i wish maybe i could go back to school someday in the near future

and maybe one day have a dishwasher

and buy lucy an outfit from gap every once in a while... =)

and maybe being able to afford going skiing a few times a year!
(okay- let's be honest. i hope to one day buy a season pass... haha)

silly eh?
just needed to vent.
i'm sure you ALL can relate.
right?

life is good.
we are blessed beyond measure.
i'm just a little selfish that's all....
but seriously.
just to have a job is a HUGE blessing right now....
i count us at the top of the totem pole!

today i am grateful for:
p90x quick indoor workouts =)
walking the mall
swimming with lu lu
free dinners from tyler's work
the $75 gift card to the mall we won!
and the bed i am about to crawl into with my cute husband!

    I can totally relate! Nick and I both have great jobs but money is still an issue. Growing up sucks sometimes ha ha. I hope all is going well with you and your family. Your daughter is adorable!! Check out my blog, it would be nice to keep in touch!

    I totally feel ya girl. Brett and I both have great jobs, but still money is tight and it's hard to save and be able to afford all we need. Last night I wrote down blessings I've been given just to remind myself (as I look at the newest bedding from Anthropolgie...sigh). I guess I just have to focus on the fact that God loves us and we're blessed, close the Anthropolgie page, and go to work. Love you girl! Hang in there :)

    Hey! we feel ya too.... So do you really like P90X? I've heard so many people rave about it, so I'm thinking of getting it, but I don't want to unless its REALLY going to be worth it.

    i may not be married or have a baby but i can relate - paying for school and all of my own bills piles up! it'll get easier before you know it.

    I still worry about money all the time, I think its just a part of life! Even now when we're making more money, we just make more bills to worry about--new house, new car, more vacations, etc! What can ya do?!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
