A Warm December= Zoo

Image
Friday my mother in law called me at about 11am, to go to the zoo in 45 minutes! Yay! We totally ditched our plans to go to lunch with friends-- (Sorry girls!), convinced daddy to leave work, and met Bonnie, Amy, Blake and little Callie at the zoo! It was probably like 50 degrees on Friday--- Crazy! And the animals were the most active I have EVER seen them! The girls had a blast, and we had a blast watching them! Thanks Grandma Bonnie for such a fun day! the elephants were eating honeydew when we got there, they probably downed about 50+ melons just while we were standing there! The tigers were crazy! They were all up walking and pacing right by the fence, playing in the water, eating some huge hunk of raw meat, etc... It was pretty crazy. Usually when we go they are sleeping! I love cute Callie! We had so much fun! We're trying to cram as much fun as we can before Tyler leaves next week! Ah!

Santa Came!

We are so excited to say that Santa came to visit our house this year! Yay! This is the first year we have actually been able to sleep at our house, and we were so happy we did! We had to wake the girls up a little early, but as soon as Lucy saw her princess tent, she was just fine with being up early! Lucy's goods: Clara's:  Mom & Dad's Santa even came and ate all of our cookies! Christmas is so much more fun with kids! Lucy was in heaven! Santa brought Lucy her princess tent, her cabbage patch doll and high chair (that he found at a consignment sale! Wahoo!), the game candy land, the movie Lion King and some new animals! Clara got a new rattle, a giraffe, and an outfit! I got Tyler his favorite gift-- a Ninja Turtles T-shirt! And another shirt and movie. He totally surpised me and got me the perfume I have been wanting, and my favorite american eagle socks! Overall- it was a good sock year! =) We were over at my Pa...

Christmas Eve 2011

Image
This year we spent Christmas Eve at the Brock Home! and the best part- my sister Cheryl and her husband Kyle, flew in from Baltimore that morning! Yay! Did I mention we haven't seen them since JULY?  We had the best day. Did a couple puzzles while watching 'White Christmas' of course.. my favorite movie!  Ate lots and lots of good food, and did nothing. It was awesome. We had yummy filet mignon, twice baked potatoes, and homemade rolls for dinner... Yum... Little Lucy had a rough couple of days at my moms-- hit the back of her head on my mom's nightstand and bled all over her shirt the day before christmas eve, then on christmas eve she went to get the mail with my dad and had an accident, while washing her clothes she bumped her lip and bled on her shirt yet again, and then after opening up her new christmas P.J.'s she went diarrhea in those.... that being said... potty training is actually going really well! She hasn't had an acc...
