Santa Came!

We are so excited to say that Santa came to visit our house this year!
Yay! This is the first year we have actually been able to sleep at our house, and we were so happy we did! We had to wake the girls up a little early, but as soon as Lucy saw her princess tent, she was just fine with being up early!

Lucy's goods:
Clara's:
 Mom & Dad's

Santa even came and ate all of our cookies! Christmas is so much more fun with kids! Lucy was in heaven!

Santa brought Lucy her princess tent, her cabbage patch doll and high chair (that he found at a consignment sale! Wahoo!), the game candy land, the movie Lion King and some new animals!
Clara got a new rattle, a giraffe, and an outfit!
I got Tyler his favorite gift-- a Ninja Turtles T-shirt! And another shirt and movie.
He totally surpised me and got me the perfume I have been wanting, and my favorite american eagle socks! Overall- it was a good sock year! =)

We were over at my Parent's house by about 8:30, and Lucy was so excited to see that Grandma and Grandpa got her what she has been asking for for months-- a Shopping cart! She is in love to say the least! She loves all the food she got too, and has been pushing everything around in that thing!

Looking GOOD Candace! =)
This is where Clara is usually found these days-- on my dad's lap! I'm telling you- she is the sweetest baby ever. My dad is getting pretty attached!
Such a cheese-ball.
Clara got the softest blanket, wrapped up in this dog pillow from my parents. She loves snuggling with it, and her grandpa of course!

Tyler got a sweet iPad stand, and keyboard from my parents, along with shoes and a few shirts.
They totally spoil us every year!

and thank goodness-- my dad FINALLY got my mom her kitchen aid mixer she has been wanting for years! Bless his heart- he always gets her something like a sleeping bag- literally. So this year he wrapped up in a huge box this sleeping bag as a joke, and had the kitchen aid out in the garage! Good work pops! She also got some sweet powder skis--
Lucy got the most darling backpack also from my mom, and a cute outfit! She was ready to go!

I have been really wanting some new brown boots, and my mom got them for me! Yay!
They also got me a few new shirts, a cookbook, Barnes and Noble gift cards, and more socks! Yay!

after opening all the family's gifts, we headed over to the Croslands for the most important part of they day.. Scones! Bonnie makes these once a year, and we wouldn't miss it for the world! Best food ever!

I dont know how I didn't get a picture of our gift from them, but talk about amazing! Bonnie and Jeff got us a pretty amazing 72-hour kit. Me and Tyler joked that it was a 3-week survival kit- it's that amazing! Seriously we have everything from an axe, to a portable toilet, fire extinguisher, underwear, blankets, light sticks, food, etc... etc... etc... It's pretty incredible! Makes me feel better about moving to North Dakota and not having any family to rely on if something were to happen! They spent so much time and money on that, and we really really appreciate it!

Lucy got a darling owl outfit from them, some super cool squinkies, and some really cute books!
Clara also got a darling outfit, and the cutest little baby toys, and hand-puppet books!

We went to the singles ward where Jeff is the bishop at 1:00 that day, and afterwards we all stayed to fly the helicopters that Bonnie and Jeff had given us in the gym! Lucy and Blake had so much fun running as fast as they could int he gym!

We ended the day with a fabulous dinner of more filet mignon and crab legs! We are so so grateful for such wonderful families that we get to spend the Holidays with! We are so thankful for the wonderful gifts we received, and that we could celebrate the birth of our savior!
