Forgotten Carols

Tyler and I had a hot date this Monday!
With all of the Crosland 'adults' (Sorry Jess- You're still 17....) and minus Ben & Carrie... but almost!



we had a wonderful dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, and then went to see The Forgotten Carols!
I have been a couple of times before, and it's always so enjoyable!
But let's be honest-- any night with all adults and not my two cute wonderful girls is enjoyable! =) 
Oh, you know I love them right?
It was just a much needed break!
We went with Tyler's family to The Forgotten Carols like a month after we had started dating, at that point Tyler was just another guy I was dating, and it was already a little awkward being with his entire family... let alone, when they make you all link arms and sing, "we can be together forever someday....", and I was linking with my now brother-in-law Luke who I had met like once before that... It was awesome. Haha. 
This time was a lot less awkward, even though I'm sure Kev enjoyed linking up with the lady next to him who was super eager to get in on the linking action- and me of course!

We have the most fabulous family, and I am loving this Holiday season!

    I love the forgotten carols! We use to go every year when we lived in utah! Glad you guys are doing well!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
