8 months... the little cheese!


This little cutie is 8 months old today... 
Seriously!? I can't believe she is getting so big-- I just want her to stay this age forever!
She is so sweet and so so cute. She talks all the time--- just gooing and such.
She loves clapping her hands, especially when I sing, "If you're happy and you know it..."
She is a ROLLER! This kid can roll anywhere. She is really close to crawling too, but for now can just roll to get whatever she wants. I never remember Lucy rolling this much!

She is now eating 3 meals a day of baby food-- she loves Pears with cinnamon and oatmeal, and any fruit. She does pretty well with the 'meats' too-- Yuck, like chicken and apples. That ones probably the best meat baby food. Gag me.
She still has 6 oz bottles every 3-4ish hours, but drinks about half at a time, except in the morning-- she guzzles that thing!  We usually put her down at about 8-9ish with Lucy, and she wakes up for a bottle around 6:30-7am, then sleeps again until about 9:30 or 10! She takes about 3 naps a day-- midmorning, afternoon, and evening. We don't really have a specific schedule, I just know she is one happy baby unless she is hungry, poopy, or tired! She loves her sister Lucy, and is so content as long as she can see what is going on and be included in our conversations. She sucks on everything, and loves all of Lucy's toys and animals. She also loves her little blankys and her binky, and is still bald. =)
She really is the happiest little girl-- She is so calm, and sweet. She has started to the funniest cheesy smile lately where she like tilts her head back, breaths through her nose, and shows off her gums! It's so funny looking-- Oh, I love sweet Clara. Everyone does! Really, she is the sweetest baby-- and check out the cheesy smile! How can  you not love her!? Haha. Love you sweet Clara Mae!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
