Yay for cheerios.

Try Outs are over. Sigh of relief. Today took much longer than expected, but worth the wait! We took a larger squad this year- 23 girls on Varsity. It may be too many, but too late now! I'm excited for practices to get started next week! Now I need a nap...

on my mind

On my mind today. Some days I want another baby- like tomorrow. Then some common sense kicks in.. It says, Carly- Lucy is only ONE- what are you thinking? And, did you forget you have no money to pay for the little squirt? But then I walk by newborn babies in their strollers in the mall, or take dinner to a new mom in the ward, and about die at how cute the little newborns on.  I think- I must have one, 9 months from now! Lucy so needs a friend. It is so cute how she interacts with other children- she is SO SO social and outgoing, and I know she would be the most darling big sister... Then I remember, how bad I wanted to run for 9 months but couldn't.... I'll be honest-  I am not looking forward to gaining 25 lbs again. I had the easiest pregnancy ever.... But part of me wants to finally run that 1/2 marathon in August. And I am really enjoying this warm weather and going running everyday... Maybe I want to wear a bikini this summer, okay? Is that so bad? Who knows, maybe afte...

good weekend...

We had a great weekend...  Let's just say My mom, sisters and I took full advantage of the Gap/Banana Republic Sale this weekend too. =) Haha. Friday I ended up meeting my mom at gateway while Tyler changed our snow tires back to the regular ones. Lucy is quite the little shopper now. That night Bonnie and Jeff babysat Lucy so Tyler and I could go to the temple. We were able to do sealings, and it was so lovely! I am always 'nervous' to write about the spirit in our lives- and I have no idea why at all- because it truly is amazing. We are so lucky to be able to have the gospel in our lives, and to take advantage of temples being so close- and our churches! It makes me such a happier person... I love it! Lucy had a blast with Grandma and Papa Crosland, and we enjoyed 5 guys with them, and somehow I talked Tyler into taking me to Nelson's frozen custard on the way home... Ah... Bliss! Saturday Jessi had a dance competition down here at Timpview High, so me and Lucy went a...

As of late. And Happy St. Patty's!

Let's see. As of late. LOVING the warm weather. Lucy, Cheryl, my mom and I hit up our local park. She LOVES being outside and wandering around on the sidewalks- we have to be careful because she likes to dart out into the street suddenly. Happy St. Patricks Day! We celebrated by hanging out with Grandma Carrie, going to the park, and the mall. Yay! This was also yesterday at the park with aunt Cheryl. And yes- Confession. One of my most favorite things about being a mom is a cute messy baby and her messy room. She seriously gets out every toy she owns and every book she owns every day. But i think her room is SO cute all dirty- and well 'lived' in. It makes me love being her little Mommy! She will disappear all the sudden and I will walk into her room and she is just sitting quietly reading a book, flipping through the pages- it's usually upside down, but it's so cute!

oh nothing.

I know i have been a bad blogger. but nothing has been going on. except for the fact that i can't get over how cute my daughter is... can you? she is seriously the most darling little girl in the whole world. i can't believe that she is seriously a TODDLER now! She walks everywhere. Is great at doing 'plie's to pick things up.. gets into EVERYTHING... even learned how to throw tantrums the last couple days. i have to try not to laugh while she is screaming and straightening her legs and flexing her feet and clenching her fists when she is waiting for me to get her bottle or something... it doesn't happen often, but when it does- she has quite the scream! its funny because those of you who know me know that i am not the 'give my baby whatever she wants' type of mom... I think Lucy is the best thing ever... but I definitely do not spoil her. I guess all kids have that 'toddler' phase in them... right? This week was cute Jessi and my Mom's birthdays...

12 month check up.

Did I mention this little girl turned ONE? She went to the doctor on Monday.  They poked her 3 times, and she acted like a champ. Here's the stats: Head: 51% Weight: 22 lbs 66% Height: 29 inches 48% Yep. Still Short and Fat. =) We love you Miss Jane!! We had a great week. Happy Birthday to my Dad on Monday! 49!! We finished off the Basketball season this week up in Bountiful- thank goodness. I've started babysitting a little girl every Wednesday from 10-1, and she is just darling. I think Lucy likes her a little more than she likes Lucy. Haha. She is like 2 1/2. Last night we went to Red Robin down at the Provo mall, and Lucy thought it was the greatest thing ever that she got to walk around the whole mall.  She puts on quite the show for people, and loves to flirt! She also had her first mom & me Dance class this week up at Jazz N'place with her cousin Nash! Lucy seriously thought it was the greatest thing ever. She dances anytime you turn a new song on and loved the c...
