i love her.

Today has been kind of an 'Off' Day...
You know those days where you just want to sleep all day... watch movies... do nothing... eat...
I used to have those days.
And then I had a baby.
I did however take a nap when Lucy did, and watched '27 Dresses'... well most of it anyway.
it's a good thing lucy's cute.

I eventually snapped out of this 'funk', got in the tub...
(Yes the tub. Did you know i get in the tub almost every day? And Tyler twice a day? Who knew...)
Then Lucy and I went to the mall.
Who doesn't get out of a funk when shopping?
Seriously.
While in her stroller she had me take off her coat, then removed herself- her headband, both shoes, and a sock. She looked a bit homeless....
I think we're getting to that stage.
Have i mentioned that she now has her TOP LEFT TOOTH!!!
It was a momentous day.
4 months later... she finally got another tooth.

Yesterday my cute mother and second mother came down.
(mom & coco)
we took cheryl apple spice.
heard funny second grade stories.
and this is SO my mom....
she told me I could have these white shelves for Lucy's room, well then i guess my father decided he wanted to keep them for the garage....
So we went to target and she bought me the exact same ones.
Thanks mom.
I heart them!








and yay for Fun Dip Valentines.... Yesss...


still loving the bachelor...
seriously.
why is it that that show is SO entertaining to me?
quite pathetic really....

that and modern family.
so funny.

I'm not completely worthless.
Lucy and I went to story time at the library on tuesday!
so what if she just crawled around and pulled books off the shelves...
she loved it.
and i love her.
and tyler.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
