St. George-Luv 2 Dance

Sorry I am so behind on blogging. I have thought of a million things to blog about lately-- but they will just have to wait, because I need to blog about my trip me and Lucy took last weekend! But I just can't resist-- Did anyone see Paula as she was watching Adam perform tuesday night on american idol? OH it was hilarious- priceless. THEN- as she was giving him her crazy speech as to how amazing he is, which granted, he really is good, I'm just not a fan, She is rambling on, and Simon is giving her this look like, "what the hell are you talking about?" It's hilarioius. His face says exactly what I am thinking everytime she talks! You have to watch the clip sometime.

ANYWAY. So, after deciding to leave my poor cute husband on his birthday me and Lucy took off to St. George with my mom, Coleen, and little Can Can for her dance competition! She did her solo Friday night, and all of her team dances Saturday. I can't get over how talented she is. You will have to watch her solo- I filmed it and attached the clip at the bottom. We had so much fun swimming both Friday and Saturday, and I loved that I actually got to watch Candace and Jessi (Tyler's little sister) at the same competition! They are both so good! They dance for different studios so they are almost never at the same place, but this year it worked out! I got sun burnt and loved every minute of it, and Lucy had a little dip in the 'hot tub' for her first swim! It makes me so excited for Lake Powell and Summer!! Enjoy the pics!

    Car you and cute Lucy are so tan, she's adorable and still tiny! Candace is such a little women now, she is a great dancer! My dance company was down there too, one of these times I will go down to St. George for it!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
