Success.

I made it through the week! It was a busy one, but good. It felt good to be busy again to be honest, but I love LOVE being home and not having to go to work or school everyday! Here's a recap:
Cheer Try Outs were a success! We just took one bigger squad- 16 girls on Varsity. They are all cute girls, and Im looking forward to another fun year! This year Christy Gerrard (Barney) is going to be my assistant coach, and she is going to be awesome. We have our uniform fittings all done, so now it's just getting busy again with all the fun finance stuff for their parents! Go Tigers!

Little Candace made FJH Cheer! They took five 7th graders, and she was one of them! Looks like i'm the only loser who didn't make it in 7th grade now... Oh well. Way to go Can-Can. Go Huskies!
Tyler sent me these beautiful flowers on friday! Yes, he spoils me completely.
Lucy is absolutely adorable! She is smiling all the time now, and makes the most adorable 'goo'-ing noises!
General Conference was awesome! We went up to Kaysville for the weekend, and had a great time spending time with our families. Bonnie, Jeff, and Jessi are all on a cruise this week- Im so jealous- but we got to hang out with them, and Amy and little Blake before they left! I loved General Conference though, it's so nice to hear so many amazing talks in just two short days, and not to mention, all from the comfort of your own home! I had many favorites, but I always love President Uchtdorf and Monson the best.
I took miss Megan to lunch on Saturday for her birthday! So fun to see her--i need to see my friends more often. I apologize for being a little anti social at times!
I also went to dinner Saturday with my mom and sisters at Red robin! I always enjoy a good chocolate shake and good company!
Overall a great weekend! I love this weather today! I hope it keeps up... me and Lucy are going running!

    Oh how fun! I'm glad tryouts went well! Also I love Christy. You'll have so much fun with her! I'm jealous ;)PS Lucy is adorable!

    I didnt make it in 7th either Car your not alone!! Im glad try outs went well! You two should of called me for lunch cause I had NOTHING on saturday, Megan actually wrote me on facebook and said she could do lunch saturday but I got it too late. Ill have to take her out another day :) I miss you Car and would love to make a day to come visit you or if your up here do lunch of something! Lucy is as cute as ever!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
