Just Lucy.


OH... She is SO dang cute. Yes I know, the bow is still too big, but so cute. Lucy now has tears. It's so precious. Her little LONG eyelashes get all wet now when she crys!

She's not quite sure what to think of tummy time. She mainly drools and trys to eat whatever she is laying on.

Lucy has angry eyes. Look at her eyebrows, whenever she is unhappy she totally 'furrows her brow' and just stares. Her eyes look a little funny because whenever the second flash will go off her eyes go HUGE. Yes. I'm blinding my child.

So Lucy has gotten quite the personality lately. Let's just say that I don't think we'll use the word 'passive' to describe her. I wonder where she gets her stubborness from? Hmmm... =) I will mainly blog about her today, because, well, she is just so dang cute, and mainly what is going on in my life right now!

Well first of all, Lucy is chunky all the sudden! I swear just in the last week her little wrist rolls, and thigh rolls are blossoming! She has the cutest double chin and chipmunk cheeks!! It's so funny because at the Crosland's house I always am hearing how little Lucy is, but I took her with me to the high school the other day and all the ladies in the office couldn't get over how BIG she is!
What else... She can Almost roll over, She LOVES sucking on her whole fist. Not just her fingers.. she trys to get the whole hand in there, its quite cute. She Smiles all the time, and 'goos' all the time. She loves her daddy, they love to cuddle. She is getting so good at sitting up-- on the couch of course, and she loves cuddling with us in the morning in our bed.
OH. She LOVES the tub. For example- the other night just after she had eaten, changed her diaper, given her gas drops, has her binky, and is all bundled up for bed- she starts screaming bloody murder. After having her fall asleep in my arms, putting her in her crib, and having her wake up crying again a few times, Tyler suggests the tub. We walk into the bathroom, she hears the water running, and silence. She then spits her binky out and looks up at me and smiles. As if she is mocking me. Ah. Little Lucy. You're lucky you are so cute!
Also- So I am her mom, I don't know how to describe this. So I think she is the most adorable think on this earth, but I can slowly start to see her change into this chubby little awkward baby, but i just think she is getting cuter, even though I'm sure most people think otherwise. i can't explain this= perhaps you other moms know what I am talking about. She will just make the most awkward, ugly/funny faces, and I just can't help but think how CUTE she is. I just love her. She is now 2 months old. We go to the doctor thursday. Mommy is more scared than Lucy. We're having Grandma Brock come with us- I'm terrified of needles.

    She is beautiful, and don't worry, those ugly/funny faces she pulls are just her way of expressing her personality before she has words to yell! And she does look like she is getting bigger, and her little cheeks are so cute! Good luck Thursday... I would give some Tylenol before you go. I do, if only to make Mommy feel better.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
