New Years Goals/Wishes.... & Tyler!!

Im a little late-- but my blog is like more of my own scrapbook/journal so I needed to share my goals and desires for the upcoming year:
  • Survive having my first baby!!
  • Family Home Evening
  • Nightly Family Scripture Study
  • Daily Personal Scripture Study
  • Temple once a month
  • Run a 1/2 marathon in August
  • Get my body back and look good in a bikini!!
  • Read my share of good books
  • Keep adding to my book collection- especially childrens books
  • Become a good and fun mommy!
  • Save money to take Tyler to New York/East coast
  • have a good year with my cheerleaders
  • Continue saving money to eventually buy a house!
  • Keep up the fun dates/trips/memories with Tyler...
  • Become a better cook
  • Tumble again....
  • Learn to do something new
  • Become more crafty and cheap
  • do NOT get pregnant in 2009. Haha....

I'm sure I'll think of more and continue adding to my list... That's just a few! And maybe one day I can get Tyler to write on here- but possibly not, seeing as he has just asked me to write in my journal about his life as well as mine. So in case anyone is wondering what Tyler is up to, he is: working at APX alarm still selling security systems, going to school at UVU- this hopefully his last semester of generals, and he is just getting ready to be the cutest dad in the whole world! He talks to my belly ALL the time and can seriously get our little girl to move for him whenever he wants and like switch sides of my belly to come say hi to him and such. I think she is going to like him more than me for sure! He is still a little nervous holding newborns and not so sure about the whole changing diapers thing, but he is so cute with little kids- little girls especially. I'm excited to see him with our daughter. (His little princess he says...) Tyler is wonderful, and is the greatest husband anyone could ever ask for! I hear all these stories of divorce and unhappy marriages, and am so glad to say that of course our marriage isn't perfect, BUT I love Tyler more everyday and Im so excited to continue building our family together! I don't know how I got so lucky, because Tyler definately takes care of me more than I do anything for him- He is wonderful and I love him!

    Car good job on your New Years Goals! It's crazy that you'll have a baby so soon! I'm so excited for your shower Saturday...ps are there any special requests you may have for food??

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
