cramming in the fun...

my mom, clara, and i at candace's region drill competition this wednesday...

SOOOO.... we move in a week. 
one week people.
i'm a little bit dying, sad, anxious, excited, and stressed.
but not too stressed or sad, to be cramming in as much as we can these last couple weeks here in utah!

anywho. wednesday was little can's region drill comp.... bonnie and jessi were awesome and watched little miss lu while i headed up with my mom and clara to watch can.... other than military being the most down-right frightening thing i have ever seen,  it was rather enjoyable! haha.. girls just shouldn't growl and yell like that, it's weird! =) Candace danced beautifully and their jazz, and character numbers were amazing! (as was their military, sans growling!) They placed 2nd in all of their routine and did great, i'm excited to watch them at state this friday!


Thursday we met up with our friends Izzy & Macie for lunch at Mc'D's! I picked up Kneaders on the way there for me, and it was awesome. Brooklyn, Michelle, and I chatted for like 2 hours while our little girlies went crazy at the playplace. Love McDonalds for that! 
How cute are these 3 girls? Lucy is so going to miss her best friends! She has so much fun with them, and I just love Michelle and Brooklyn too!

and best part of my week, Bonnie was so awesome and watched Lucy & Clara AGAIN for me-- I swear I am forever indebted to my babysitters the past few weeks- aka, Bonnie, my mom, and Amy! They have saved me! anyway... I got to go skiing with my mom!

So I am good at pretty much two things in my life, cheerleading and skiing--- since none of them will take me far in life, I'm pretty S.O.L., so i'm workin' hard at this 'mommy' business, but boy oh boy, can I just say... i LOVE to ski! Snowbasin is by far my favorite/home resort, so of course thats where we went. My mom also teaches up there a couple days a week, and we had so much fun! it was a total blue-bird day and I loved it! Thanks so much mom!



cute clara is now such a mover that she just sits up in her crib and eventually gets so tired that she just falls asleep sitting up all hunched over... she is so funny...


So friday night I also took my two girls to IKEA by myself...
who goes to IKEA with two kids by themself? Seriously. they were actually so well behaved, and it was a successful trip. (An easel for Lucy's b-day coming up! among some other random necessities of course...) Except.. that at exactly 9pm I'm loading up our car after getting the girls both in their car seats and I hear them announce on the intercom that the store is now closed and Lucy starts yelling, "Mom!! I go pee pee! RIGHT NOW!!" So... I get the girls out of the car, I'm lugging Clara's car seat, running to the door, pound on the door, someone lets' me in the side door, we run inside, Lucy goes pee, then we have to go out a different door, like a block away from our car..... as I'm lugging cute clara the chunk in her carseat and was so so sore from skiing. It was hiliarous. Love those cute girls. This is after we got home, who knows why we are in the bathroom??



then the best surprise! My dad called at like 10:30 friday night and invited me to go skiing again on saturday with him and my brother! Yay! My cute mom watched my girls, and we had SO much fun! I think my feet might be permanently bruised from my ski boots, but I love love skiing... and I love love snowbasin, it was awesome, and I'm so so glad I got to go before we moved! Yay! Thanks dad!

another bluebird day!




this week is full of Clara's 9 mo, and Lucy's 3 yr  Dr. appt in the morning, packing, last practices with KJH cheer before their competition, getting my hair done, more packing, playing with the grandmas and cousins, going to candace's state competition, kaysville's cheer comp saturday, and lucy's early birthday party! Ah! and hoping to cram in some shopping at my favorite stores that are not in north dakota... =)
I'm trying to stay busy enough to not go too crazy about thinking about moving!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
