Ok i know i am a loser and already posted our trip today, but i am supposed to be studying for finals, but instead i am playing on the computer and who doesn't love reminising (sp?) so here are my tags...
4 things i was doing ten years ago...
1. Just moved to Kaysville from Arizona and getting adjusted at Windridge elementary. I had all new friends and was loving the chinese jump ropes.
2. Gymnastics. I was at the gym everyday up until i quit a year later! i loved it.. my big sister cheryl taught me everything i knew! i loved doing WHATEVER she did. i was her little shadow.
3. Playing house/school/dress ups. All the kids in the neighborhood were enrolled in my school and i was their teacher. Anyone who knows me knows i am still a little kid at heart. I played house with my little brother and sister until seriously junior high. I loved playing anything... pretending i was in college was also way cool. My 'pretend names' were Tammy and Ashley. I thought they were way cute.
4. On the ski team at snowbasin. It was my first year racing and i loved it!! still do!
4 things i was doing five years ago...
1. hanging out with my big sister cheryl, our friend mindy, and our boyfriends everyday. We lived at jd whitaker's house. we snuck out almost everynight and worried my mom sick.
2. Dancing/cheering/tumbling.... i danced my life away at luv 2 dance and was a varsity cheerleader at davis! (cheryl made it her sophomore year so of course it was my all time goal to make it mine. scariest day of my life.) i did one of those things every single day and loved it. i still miss it.
3. Daydreaming about the future. wondering who i was going to marry, what i was going to name my kids, where i was going to live, etc... i still do this.
4. in the summers i was swimming everyday with friends, megan, paige, emily, michelle, etc... and in the winters just skiing and getting ready for cheer nationals in florida. no license... i had a late birthday.
4 things i'm doing this year...
1. Teaching tumbling/dance at Jazz n'Place in P.G. and coaching cheer/tumbling/gymnastics and being a secretary at All American Gymnastics in lindon. Greatest jobs ever.. I love the people i work with.. i see cheryl everyday and LOVE my girls i teach! teaching is so rewarding, i couldn't possibly do anything else.
2. going to school.. majoring in secondary english education. trying to get done as fast as possible!
3. hopefully starting our family within in the next year or so!
4. Traveling and spending tons of time with Tyler, our first anniversary is may 30th! crazy how fast this year has gone!
4 things i did yesterday...
1. saw mystere cirque de soleil!
2. ate cotton candy for the first time in forever!
3. layed out for the first time all year.. it was amazing!
4. sang my heart out in the car
4 shows i like...
1. the office
2. friends
3. american idol
4. so you think you can dance
4 biggest joys of the moment
1. just loving tyler more than anything and loving that he is like my very own little boy! I don't think he will ever grow up... i know alot of people say that, but i treasure his child-likeness!
2. knowing im done with classes for this semester and almost done with my finals!
3. being so grateful for our little apartment, our jobs, the chance to go to school, etc... etc... we are so blessed.
4. knowing that were going to lake powell thursday. Ahh... Bliss. I'm so excited to just relax and read a good book. Any recommendations?
