Updates in our lives!
Well I haven't written in a while just about what's going on lately... so I will!!
Carly-- As many of you know I quit my job secretarying at the gym and it has been marvelous!! I don't know why, but the last month or so of working just seemed off. It's a long story, and I really did like working there most of the time, but I am loving not working there right now. I changed my major to Elementary education so this semester is dedicated to the prerequisites for that major. It has been pretty simple.. That was only 9 credits, so I am also taking a class on 7 habits for highly effective people. The book is amazing and the class is even better! All of you should read it. I love that class. My class and teacher are awesome too.
My jobs right now then are babysitting Angie's little boy Nash a couple times a week, coaching an Advanced tumbling class at the gym, and Cheer! I really do love my girls and it has been so much fun coaching this year. They have improved so so much since the beginning of the summer, and are still improving each day. We are planning to compete this winter, so we'll see how things go! We're still in the process of learning our routine and have a couple girls injured, so we'll see how everything plays out. So far so good though! I dont' think I could do this job if I didn't love the girls I coach so much.. it makes me appreciate Brooke and Shelley in high school, because I swear we were little brats to our coaches. My girls are great-- hard workers most the time, and are all really nice to each other. There is really no drama or little cat fights on the squad- which is miraculous for 20 high school girls I should say!
My pregnancy is going well! I am now 20 wks along and I find out October 10th what we're having!! YAY!! That is if my little child's legs aren't crossed... I'll hope for the best. I still haven't been really sick, now its just random things like my child will be sitting on my bladder and I think I'll pee my pants every five minutes--or I think my child will be sitting on a siatic nerve and send shooting pains up my back for a couple days. I would rather have that though then be throwing up. I am getting really excited to be a mom-- but then also feeling of being terrified and terribly overwhelmed as well! I'm sure all you mommy's can relate. It will be quite the adventure!
Overall-- things are good with me. I have a lot more time to get things done--but I swear Im still rushing to get things done and there isn't enough time. Me and Cheryl hang out quite a bit-- we tend to go to lunch when we really should be doing homework, but it works out. It's nice to have her home again! Tyler is doing well.. just going to school and working full time! He is amazing.. I don't know what I would do with out him! He is so patient with me, and is going to be the cutest little daddy! (Speaking of which--his whole family is super tall--do you think we'll have a random huge child or just little like him? I wonder...) Everything is great. We are so blessed. Looking forward to conference this weekend! Loved President Uchdorf's talk at the Relief society broadcast!!
Amy had little Blake Marie on September 16th! Carrie is due in December! I'm due in February! I'm excited for our kids to be cousins! Yay!
P.S. My primary program is October 26th. I have 3 kids. Help!! Any ideas??
Love you all!
