Quirks Tag...

Ok so Paige tagged me on this.. I couldn't think of many.. I mean trust me I have my quirks, but here's a few!

1. I have extreme Bed Jealousy. Now many of you may be wondering what this is... well.. as most of you know I love sleeping, and our bed is the most comfortable thing ever... so, if Tyler is up late doing homework I can just crawl right in bed without him- no problem. We wake up in the morning and he gets in the shower and leaves me in bed- no problem. The problem is that he can't be in bed without me in there... because I get jealous!! I hate waking up and getting in the shower first because I know he is still all curled up in bed and I am so jealous! If I am up late doing homework and Tyler goes to bed.. I always end up abondoning whatever I'm working on and just go to bed becuase i am so jealous that he is in bed and I am up doing whatever i'm doing. It's weird I know... but I really do get so jealous. I just love my sleep...

2. The girls I coach can attest to this.. but I have this horrible habit of saying, "Ok, Just one more time" and then I continue to make them do something like 10 more times. Or just one minute.. and im like ten.. or something like that. you get the idea.

3. I hate dishes. I hate doing dishes more than anything. My mom has this picture of me when I was like 10 bawling and extremely pist of loading the dishwasher.... Let's just say... I feel like that everytime its my turn to do the dishes. I dream of a a dishwasher....

4. Call it what you wish... but I have this 'ability' to relax.... Haha.. I think some may call it laziness, but when I am not feeling good or stressed out... I really just let everything go and relax. I have to or I just go insane.. Obviously I am not a very 'strong' person.. But I really do like my ability to just let go and relax for a little while or just treat myself to something good and fun. That sounds bad... but... I have just realized life is too short to get soo busy and stressed out.. I would rather just enjoy whats going on!

    Carly I do that same thing with the bed! I cannot be out of bed if Ben is in there. I love curling up and just laying there!! By the way, congrats on the girl! So excited for you and cros monkey!

    I need some of your "quirk" of relaxing. I may be lazy at times, but it doesn't feeling relaxing at all!

    CONGRATULATIONS CAR!! I am so exciting for you and I have plenty of names to tell you so hopefully one out of the fifty you will both like! :) Love your quirks, I do the same thing with my cheerleaders...I always say "ok one more time" and then they do 10 more so it's normal!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
