Hmmm....

So I have been having this 'moment' lately that it is truly terrifying- yet also very exciting that I really am going to have a baby in 2 months! Yes- only 2 months left. There was the cutest little girl at one of my girls basketball games the other night, among many other little things- but I still cannot really believe- it just doesnt seem real yet that me and Ty will really have our own daughter soon! I swear I was just in 4th grade playing house and pretending to have kids-- I don't feel old enough. and I am SO scared of actually going into labor and having the baby-- Oh i am so scared. I can't tell you how excited I am to be a mom, it really is all I have wanted to be since I was a little girl- but I am a little nervous for the day to come! I don't feel at all adequate or qualified. It's just weird to feel this little one jumping- yes jumping and bouncing off the walls of my uterus and to think she will be here so soon! Tyler is going to be the cutest little daddy- I wish you all could see him talk to my belly sometime- its priceless. Anyway- Sorry about the rambling- Im just a little anxious-nervous-excited for my upcoming motherhood!

P.S. What is up with movies costing freaking $8.50 a person! I swear it was only $7- but oh no- it cost me and Ty $17 to go to the movies tonight! We're way too poor for that! We saw Australia- Hugh Jackman really is 'so hot right now'- but the movie was like forever long.

P.P.S. Does anyone want to come decorate my house? I feel like we have so much stuff our apartment is going to explode and no where to put it all- and guess what- more furniture is on the way!! Help!!

Sorry for the boring post-- just a little nervous for my little girl to arrive!

    Car you'll be the best mom ever! The only thing I'm worried for is you going into labor with that epideral needle!! haha no but really Ladd has had one twice and he says they aren't that bad........... Anyways though I just realized we need to throw you a baby shower! Me and Paige talked about it a while ago and will probably do it at her house but we just need to know what day is best for you in January! It will be so nice to go pick out cute baby stuff instead of lingerie for once!

    Tyler + Carly = jumping baby for sure.

    Carly you will do great! Don't be nervous, little baby is going to love you and Tyler so that will make up for anything hard.

    You're going to be the cutest mom ever Car!!! Don't worry about labor - that's what epidurals are for!! You aren't doing it naturally...right? That just hurts thinking about it!!! My sister-in-law who lives in Provo loves decorating and her house is way cute! Let me know if you are serious about the decorating thing haha!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
