Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a great low-key laid back weekend here in Minot! We always are missing our families, but knowing we are going to be in Utah in a little over 2 weeks is such a good thought... and we have some fabulous friends here.

We started our day by watching the infamous Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade and just hanging out while we baked!
 We then headed to the church to meet up with some families in our ward for dinner! The girls had a blast running wild, and we had a good dinner. I think next year we will be staying home though! You just don't get to relax at the church! But we had a great dinner and headed home for some down time!
 Later that night Celeste & Taylor, and Spencer came over for some appetizers and Desserts! We had such a good night with them and Celeste and I even snuck in some shopping at the mall from 8-10 while the men held down the fort with the babes!
 I sure love this girl. Whatever she's feeling- it's intense. Best way to describe it! But boy is she so cute  and sweet! 
 Friday we had a lazy day! We slept in and I ran to the mall for a couple hours to get some Christmas gifts. Later we headed back to the mall to see 'Frozen'! It was SO good! The girls loved it! We went out for pizza afterwards, it was the perfect family date.
 Clara insisted on wearing my sunglasses- in the pitch black. This girl beats to her own drum!
 Saturday afternoon I snuck in one last long run! It was in the 30's- wahoo! This week the high is -10.... so I'm glad I went out! --sure love those space shoes!
That's all covered in snow now! Just 2 days later!
 We FINALLY got our tree up! Seems so late- 2 days after Thanksgiving! Haha.
 Sunday we headed to the Noel's for a 'Friendsgiving' Feast! Both the Noel's and Jacob's were out of town for Thanksgiving, so we all got together with them- the Barlow's, and Amsbury's for a DELICIOUS Feast! And Jaymie's house is perfect- we had 16 people all at one table. Plus 7 kids at a small table, and 6 at the bar. Amazing. And Look at the Turkey! Love!

 and cute little Eleanor had on Lucy and Clara's old Christmas dress and was soooo cute. I seriously love her. And Celeste's cute Nora- oh my gosh. Baby girls- my weakness. 
 It was also Julia's 5th Birthday

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
