November Fun

36.5 weeks!
Oh now that November is over, I can say that it was the longest month ever! And yet it flew by. Those last few weeks of pregnancy are always a little rough! But I'm so glad they are over! And really it was a good month, I'm just glad all those crazy emotions are (mainly) gone and I'm feeling more like myself than a crazy emotional pregnant lady!

I tried to soak up a little one on one time with these cute girls before baby Rex came! I had definite mom guilt about being so tired and grumpy all the time. Love eating lunch with this cute little 1st grader!
and lots of lunch dates with little Clara-beara!
and really really good friends who come over to rub my swollen feet and do face masks! Love you cute Jenny!

Date nights with my favorite friends and our hubbys.
Finally mowed our lawn and raked all the leaves! Such a cute daddy and his helpers!
I can't get enough of these girls and their cute little cards.
And the best weather ever!
37 weeks. Clara got her flu shot like a champ, and I attempted yoga with a giant belly. It surprisingly felt better than walking.
38 weeks! And nothing happening with baby at all!
The girls are introduced to Star Wars... and fell in love. After episode IV--- Lucy says, "So mom, does Darth Vadar have any kids?" Where does she even come from! So funny!
Clara is hilarious and exhausting all at the same time. I think I took a bite of her cheese here. 
 And just a few days before I delivered! Gigantic and going on a date with my little Clara for our last day home alone together!
 Lucy is doing so well in school, and I seriously love her teacher. She is doing better at listening, but I can't help but laugh when things like this are sent home. Falling out of her chair, and writing 'silly head' on word problems. She is my favorite!

 and the night before I went to be induced these two cute friends of mine painted my toes and took such good care of me while I ditched church after contracting all night! Love these two!
Up next.... a BABY!!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
