 Spring! So happy. These girls lived in this apple tree all Spring long. 
 Ballet Spring Recital. Lucy lu was the cutest Pinnochio.  
 Clara was the cutest bird! Lucy got to dress up and help the youngest class as a cute little owl.

 Lucy's teacher text me one day saying that she fell at recess earlier, but was doing ok. It was during lunch so I thought I'd run over and say hi! Wrong move. She immediately saw me and started crying again. I talked to her for a while and tried calming her down. I thought she was fine and was doing fine and as I started walking away this was my view. I was dying! It was so sad and yet so funny. 
 Needless to say, her teacher text me an hour later saying she was still crying and she came home early. I love her. She was A-OK after a good nap on the couch.

Clara graduated from pre-school! She had the best year with only 7 cute kids in her class. She was there Monday-Thursday for 3 hours in the afternoon. She had her besties, Georgia and Luke in her class and had the greatest year with Miss Jess!

true story. I'm actually wearing that same yellow tee and flip flops at lucy's preschool grad. apparently running before and then changing into a clean shirt and flip flops. I'm awesome.

 Lucy has been doing Children's Music Academy for 2 years now. Her teacher Mrs. Payne, is AMAZING. I'm telling you. She's incredible. She moved to Maryland this summer and we are so sad! She started with a new teacher this fall. But we had to get one last picture of her cute class and Mrs. Payne.

It rained on Field Day, but they had an awesome time inside! Lucy is so cute to include Clara in everything.
 We love Mrs. Kemper SO much! We both had baby boys about a week apart, and that's been so fun. She was SO good with my little Lucy all year. We will miss her so much! Luckily, she's just one classroom down and lives around the corner! ;-)
 Rexy's 6 months old. 17.3 lbs and 27 inches. He's the best!
I had been in Young Womens about 18 months, and our cute President moved, we all go released, and now we've all since split wards. We had a good run!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Rex is a year and a half of craziness. He is so sweet, all over the place, and such a cute kid. He has his mama wrapped around his little chubby sticky finger! Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
