SO we're home from Powell. It was marvelous! I didnt' think I took a lot of pictures at all... but apparantly I took plenty. Im stil waiting to get all of the good pictures from LUKE. (My brother in law who had his new camera glued to him the whole time. we got some classic pictures/footage!) The theme this year was i.gov (gratitude, ownership, and virtue.) Tyler's father just got called to be a Bishop the night before we left for our trip, and was ordained this Sunday in the University of Utah Singles 13th ward! Jeff is amazing. the Batchelorette. Love Jillian. Wes on the other hand? What a freaking retard. I can't even get over how much i dislike him and thing he is the biggest freak ever!! I can't believe Jillian even really likes him? AH! I am a fan of Kipton, Jake, and Ed at the moment. So glad David and Juan are gone, but I would have rather seen Wes go, the jerk. So You Think You Can Dance.... need I say more? LOVE it. Best TV Show ever created. Go Randi Lynn! She danced with my cousin all growing up.. make sure you vote for her! Go Utah girly! It makes me miss dance like crazy... too bad I was never that good! My little sister on the other hand is! Went to her Dance Recital last night... she is amazing. Always front and center. =) My mom is just so proud. Haha. Love you little Can Can. Also... I have been eating a LOT of smoothies and milkshakes and ice cream. I seriously love them. Yay for summer. We had a fabulous weekend. Friday my cheerleaders had their little retreat up in park city, so Christy and I went up there for dinner with them. Saturday we went to this fabulous backyard concert in Farmington with Jon Schmidt and Peter Brienholdt! It was such a great concert, and fun to be with friends and family eating some good Maddox chicken! I love summer and can't wait for Lake Powell this weekend! We also start summer practices tomorrow morning... excited, but am not looking forward to the early mornings! Here is some pictures of this weekend! Cute Lucy all curled up at the concert! SO- When I was getting ready to have Lucy, I wanted to make sure I had everything.. la la la.. Sometimes I think I am in denial about it.. but I am a total planner, list maker, etc... So for all you new mommy's to be.. here are my favorite things.... It's pretty detailed, but it's also for myself so I can remember what having a newborn is like when i have my next baby! In my diaper bag: Huggies 'Natural Fit' Diapers Costco/Kirkland Wipes (They are the cheapest... for my diaper bag I just open up a package and stick some in my little 'to go' package that came with my bag, and stick the rest in a zip lock.) Some sort of butt cream.-- I got both Desitin and the Bordeaux Butt Paste- they seem the same to me, but Lucy has never gotten that bad of a rash. My Nursing Wrap/Cover-- I got mine at Babys R'us.. But there are some super cute little shops that make them.. If you are nursing you need one!! One that just goes around your neck and has a little wire so y...

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend! Thanks for all the well wishes! Here is what our weekend consisted of: Dinner at the cheesecake factory... we ran into our good friends Porter and Erika! What are the chances? Then we headed to the Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake where we enjoyed.. well really I enjoyed... the cheesecake we got to GO! Mmmm... Then Saturday we went to Gateway and loved the great weather.. I also got some great shorts at Shade for $24.. and a fabulous smoothie and food at Tucanos! That evening we were maybe going to go boating, but due to the weather we just hung out and ended up watching 'New in Town' and eating Pizza the Croslands! (we were all out of going to dinner....) Then this morning we walked around liberty park and then headed to Kaysville to enjoy some family time and our Lake Powell meeting! We're pumped to go! Enjoy the pics! I decided I need to do an update on Lucy. This is partly my baby-book and journal..... So here it goes: Lucy is mommy and daddy's pride and joy! Just the last couple days she seems to have really discovered her voice! She goos all the time, and makes the most outrageous screaming/adorable noises. She is also quite the LOUD eater. Not only does she gulp and snort.. but she now takes breaks only to talk to mom and see what else is going on. She is now goes to bed everynight, after her tub, at around 8/9 o'clock. She'll then sleep to about 3, then eat, and sleep again until 7, then until 10. I am seriously the luckiest mom ever! {sidenote: we just checked my baby book, and at 2 months old I was sleeping 13 hours a night! Yes- 13!! And you wonder why I can sleep so long now.. man o man was my mom Lucky!} Lucy still loves her binky, but lately REALLy loves her hand! She always sucks on her pointer finger and thumb-- but occasionaly likes to try to shove both fists in her mouth. ...

May 30th, 2007 was our wedding day! I can't believe it's already been 2 years, and now I have a freakin KID? WHAT? I swear 6th grade was only yesterday.... We'll be in Salt Lake all weekend to celebrate... No, it's not San Fransisco like last year.. BUT we do have a 3 month old baby. =) Tyler is wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better hubby and daddy for miss Lucy! I just put this up because look how little Jessi and Candace are? Candace is now taller than me, and well Jessi always has been.. but she's even taller now! I don't care what you say-- my candy bar was better than anyone's! Thanks CoCo. Ah the newlyweds. SO- I'm normally pretty chill- Tyler shoved cake into my eye. Do I look happy to you? It's a good thing I love him! I was ready to leave after that. Haha.
