Miss Lucy Update. 3 Months!
I decided I need to do an update on Lucy. This is partly my baby-book and journal..... So here it goes:
Lucy is mommy and daddy's pride and joy! Just the last couple days she seems to have really discovered her voice! She goos all the time, and makes the most outrageous screaming/adorable noises. She is also quite the LOUD eater. Not only does she gulp and snort.. but she now takes breaks only to talk to mom and see what else is going on. She is now goes to bed everynight, after her tub, at around 8/9 o'clock. She'll then sleep to about 3, then eat, and sleep again until 7, then until 10. I am seriously the luckiest mom ever! {sidenote: we just checked my baby book, and at 2 months old I was sleeping 13 hours a night! Yes- 13!! And you wonder why I can sleep so long now.. man o man was my mom Lucky!} Lucy still loves her binky, but lately REALLy loves her hand! She always sucks on her pointer finger and thumb-- but occasionaly likes to try to shove both fists in her mouth. =) She is still purely breastfeeding, and Tyler about had a heart attack the other day when I suggested her having a formula bottle while we were out boating and she was going to be with his mom. He honestly thinks that formula is like a cigarette for a baby- It's quite hilarious and rather annoying! I try to tell him time and time again that many mothers don't breastfeed at all and their babies turn out just fine-- but he is stubborn!! OH- We just discovered today that the HUGE fat roll she has in her neck was rubbed completely raw and all red... So sad. We are currently trying to dry it all out with baby powder... any other suggestions? She's getting so fat... we are losing things in her rolls!! Seriously though! She's now in size 2 diapers, and fits great into all of her 3-6 month clothes== I think this week I will put away all of her 0-3 months stuff. Where has the time gone? Basically- She's adorable. That sums it up. She's the cutest happiest baby, and all of my other children will seem like hellians compared to her. I now know how my mom feels about Shawn (her firstborn...). I know she loves all of us, but there is just something special about baby #1! We love Miss Lulu Jane.
OH. And she has a blow out about every day. Here is her in her cute outfit before....and yes her fat is hanging over her little skirt...

And here is after. I know gross. But I had to document it somewhere. Let's just say.. we threw the onesie away. Lucy is always SO happy and SO excited after she has a huge explosion though.. it's So funny. She loves being naked!
Omg that is so funny!!! Braylee had a really bad cold when we were about to move here to guam...She was about 4 1/2 months old...They put her on antibiotics and it made her have the runs like that really bad....We were on the airplane and I thought she just had a wet diaper so I went to the bathroom to change her and got in there and noticed it was ALL OVER her back...NEedless to say I didnt pack an extra outfit on accident and we were on an 8hr flight so she rode naked the whole time..just a diaper haha! DONT EVER FORGET TO PACK EXTRA NIGHTIES OR CLOTHES haha! too cute!
