Lucy's special day!

We had a BIG weekend! Lucy met her cousins for the first time, Cody and Macey!! She also got blessed this morning, it was Mothers Day, and we had a family get together! SO fun! Enjoy some pictures from this fun fun weekend! LOVe the weather!!

Here is miss Lucy with my mom! Like one of the only pictures I took at the park... as fun as it would have been to pile into the 4-plex after her blessing, we opted for the park instead!

Our little family this morning after her blessing! Tyler did such a wonderful job. WE are so lucky that he is such a wonderful father, husband, and priesthood holder so that he could give her her blessing.

I love this picture of Blake and Lucy. This was how she was all last night up at Nicholl's park. She thought the sky was just the coolest thing ever!


Grandma Bonnie and Macey. We held down the fort while everyone played volleyball.

Cody LOVES his trucks! He says, " Chase - Me- Truck" Run!!.. He wants you to chase him with his truck, it's so funny.

The girls! All together at last! Can you imagine how much fun they will have growing up all the same age? Bestest friends!

Again.. Blake- almost 8 months, Lucy 2 1/2 months, and Macey 5 months.

Funny. Love her. and her drool on her chin. She LOVES sucking on her hands. the other day Tyler caught her trying to shove BOTH fists into her mouth.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
