2 month check up!

Miss Lucy had her 2 month check up today! I was so worried about her getting her shots.. but she really did well considering... she screamed for like 20 minutes right after, but then fell asleep and woke up back to normal! I even took her with me to cheer tonight, and she was like the perfect baby. Just sat and played, and goo-ed and looked around. What a doll. Here's the 'stat's.' =)
Height- 21 1/4"- (8 %tile)
Weight- 10 lbs 11 oz- (41 %tile)
Head- 14.5 in- (5 %tile)

Basically she's short and getting chubby. =) Love her. Here's some pics. Adorable.

We went on a walk today--and Lucy rode in the stroller for the first time without being in her car seat! I think she enjoyed it. Aka- she slept.
She is seriously such a doll. I just wish she would sleep all the way through the night. She usually goes like 5-6 hrs at night... but I'm thinking 8 would be awesome. Wishful thinking...
Cheer so far with our new squad is going so well. I LOVE coaching with Christy! I'm excited to get to know all the girls better too. I'm sure their true colors are just starting to show. Haha...

    No I'm not coaching anymore, although I miss those girls like crazy! Between going to school again full time + working full time = absolutely no other time. haha, just kiddin... things are good though!!

    I love that we have babies about the same age, its like reading about Macie. Love it! They even have some of the same outfits! Glad cheer is going well and you have a good assistant! Did you see idol this week

    Funny-- I think the shots totally knocked her out. She slept like 9 hours that night... but not again since.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
