Ya. Lucy crawls.


Seriously. How cute is she?
She has been REALLY crawling now for a about a week.
Before she would just 'scoot' everywhere.
As parents- we couldn't be prouder!
Now we just need to baby proof our house.
Dang.

Lucy update:
Crawling as of 11/8/09
Sick last week. Slept with mom and dad everynight.
No matter where we put her in our bed, she automatically rolls onto her left side and cuddles up with Tyler. It's so funny. And cute of course.
She threw up for the first time yesterday. Not sick- just choked, and her whole lunch of peaches and oatmeal came up. She wasn't too excited about eating the rest of the day!
(also- I didn't throw up cleaning up her throw up. Something i never thought would happen!)
I'm sure I could think of more, but really she is just adorable. Talks all the time... mamamama... dadadada.... and waves. Even though I don't think she knows she's waving.
We love you Miss Lucy!

    she is crawling? craaazy!!

    and props for not throwing up while cleaning her throw up up.. i am super sensitive to smells so i'm super worried about stuff like that.

    Baby proofing is important! Macie loves outlets! And her pierced ears crack me up, so cute! And I agree with Jessi's comment below, did Cher get married? Is she still alive? I mean I know this is your blog, but c'mon you could update us! jk! You two look gorgeous in your family pics of course!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
