a quick recap...

Thursday Tyler and I took Miss Jane to the Fabulous Lindon Aquatic Center...
It's seriously the best... The have an awesome kiddie area, a lazy river, sweet slides, lap pool, hot tub, flow rider... etc... I can't say enough. I love it!

Friday we headed up to Midway for my cheerleaders retreat... we just joined them for dinner! Don't ask me how I talked Tyler into coming with me and 20 other girls... Haha.

Saturday we went to Cheryl's neighborhood shower, then had her Friends Shower down at my mom's... it was fun to see all these girls that I seriously hadn't seen it ages!

Saturday night we played at the park then had smores with P and Erika, and Heidi-- Quin was gone!

Sunday we headed up north and Lucy had her first experience with an Oreo at grandma brock's, and she has totally been on this kick lately with this super cheesy smile... oh dear.
Lucy has also started going to nursery lately! They let them come a little earlier in our ward because we have so few kids, and she loves it! You can tell she is still a little young when they do all of their activities and songs, but she loves playing with all the kids!

The last couple days we've gone running, spent a lot of time at the park, and today we swam at cheryl's apartments pool.... Lucy sure is cute, and we sure do love Summer!

and we leave for Powell on Friday! yessss....

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
