christmas!

we had a fabulous christmas!
seriously. we slept at the crosland's and miraculously didn't have to get up until like 8! yess...
lucy got an awesome barn from both of our parents actually- haha, and darling outfits. santa brought her a little table and chairs with some dishes, and neagle got her that awesome kitchen!
tylers parents got us a little flip video camera- awesome! and we each got a $100 in ones- haha.
it was the year of the coat at my parents house, and i think my whole family is sporting new patagonia coats! we should like be on their website or something... my brother and my dad are obsessed.
we spent the day eating scones at the crosland's, then omelets, and i did exactly what i wanted...
watched white christmas and did a puzzle! it was awesome.
tyler TOTALLy surprised me and got me a nice new camera! i got the canon rebel t2i.
i am SO excited- these pictures are all in random order because some are from my old camera, and some are from my new camera!

jessi got the coolest gift ever! her and bonnie are going to peru for spring break to work in the sunflower orphanage and go to machu pichu- i know i didn't spell that right, but you get the idea!



i love bonnie and jeff's long johns! they are awesome!



lucy loves all of her dishes! she has been packing around her tea set, and that quiet book she loves!
i am super lame and got tyler new shoes he wanted! and new jeans.... way cool huh?

uhm i'm huge. but seriously- it looks like i have gained 10 lbs over christmas break. this baby better be cute, because she is killing me. =) haha.

we had a fabulous christmas. we are seriously so spoiled by everyone around us, and are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends near us!

    I got the SAME CAMERA from Tyson!! It was a total shocker. Do you love it!? Cause I know I love mine! Merry Christmas!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
