We made it to Utah!

We made it onto the airplane! and more importantly-- the airplanes made it to Utah! Lucy was thrilled to be on the airplane, and we only had one minor breakdown before Lucy absolutely crashed! Here's to hoping the trip back goes just as well!

We have been having a blast since we have been here, and Lucy has been in heaven playing with her grandmas, cousins, friends, etc...

Monday we were able to go to Cherry Hill with my mom, Candace, Mel, Carter, and our friends Michelle, Izzy and Ruby-- we loved it! We will miss playing there all summer!

Tuesday we got together with my friends Michelle, Brooklyn, and Emily and let the kids run wild! So fun to see my friends again... that night I was finally able to get my cafe rio with my mom and coleen!

We went to city creek that night, and did some shopping for little Lucy.

She had a blast running around 77 kids, and is so silly lately!

Clara has finally graduated to a big-girl car seat! She seems so tiny in it, but loves facing forward now!
We went to the zoo on Wednesday--- I'll post that later, but afterwards my mom and I headed up to Park City to do a little shopping at the outlets.
Thursday we had to do some grocery shopping to get ready for Lake Powell, I got my hair done, and Tyler finally flew in! We had such a good first week here, and it was so nice just to relax and spend time at home with my family.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
