Denver!

 A couple weeks ago I went on a fun girls trip to Denver with cute Jenny & Jaymie- and of course baby Eleanor.... sigh. She's totes adorbs.
Jaymie's from there so we stayed at her parentals house and had such a fabulous time! This is my first girls trip without my kids- holy long over due! (MOM: WE NEED A GIRLS TRIP!!)
So we went for three reasons: Break from kids/Girls Time.... and then of course: Food, and Shopping.
We live in Minot. What do you expect?
We had a fabulous dinner Friday night at Saj, a Mediterannean grill that was so so good! Then cute Grandma Susan got us Einsteins Saturday morning, then Lunch at Red Robin... I know it's a chain... but it's oh so good!
 We then spent the day shopping at the most fabulous mall.. We shopped from like 1:30-9pm... It was amazing, I coveted quite a few things at J. Crew, but got some fun things from Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Anthropologie and Madewell. What I'd give for some normal stores in Minot! Probably my left arm.
 After we were starving we had the most amazing dinner at The White Chocolate Grill. Holy deliciousness food. Rotisserie Chicken crepes.... Cheesecake... honey glazed carrots... 
 They had just gotten a Cafe Rio in Littleton, so we hurried and called in an order at like 10:45 as we were leaving the restaurant! We grabbed our food right before they closed so we could have some fabulous Cafe Rio for lunch on Sunday! Brilliant!

The girls were perfectly happy at home with dad! Lucy kept performing for Clara and having her sit, watch, then clap. Lucy would then bow, and then they'd trade. Over and over. Funniest videos of this. Bless them!
 Sunday after church and the Cafe Rio amazing-ness we cruised in mama's mustang to check out downtown!
 We know we're pretty funny.
 we're also huge fans of modern art... obviously!
 We had so so much fun, and were so sad we had to leave Monday morning. I'm seeing another trip in the future! Thanks Grandma Susan and Grandpa Ray! At least we left with some of Susan's homemade Jam... Yipee!
I truly do love these girls- I have the greatest friends up here, and I love them all to death! Minot would sure be lame without them!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
