Halloween 2013

 Happy Halloween! We had a pretty awesome day. We made it to Yoga and the girls got to play at the gym- their favorite thing everrrrrr. We then walked from Jaymie's house downtown to trick or treat at the shops on main street! The girls were freezing and it was a bit of a fiasco... Haha... but we made it to a few stores and ended up warming up eating lunch together! After a looonnng day the day before, and a long night to come they both got a good nap in before we got ready for trick or treating!

 We headed over to the Jacob's house for a little Halloween party/dinner. We headed out trick or treating with the kids- Jaymie tried to dress up as Mark- but ended up just looking like her brothers. Yesssss.....
 The girls had a blast trick or treating! Jenny's street was craaazzy busy, but the kids had a blast and we totally lucked out with good weather!

 then of course Jaymie had to get in on the action... without them even noticing...
 until of course they did. Classic.
 OH and Tera's house was terrifying. There were kids literally running away from her front door! Lucy was pretty freaked out at first but after I convinced her for a good five minutes or so that it really was just Tera being silly, she walked right up to her and said, "Hi Tera! You're so silly!!" It was hilarious!!
 and of course- Eleanor turned into a mermaid from the North Pole. I love her.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! Lucy's biggest fan! Lucy has bee doing SO great at soccer! Soccer camp from this summer really helped the girls a ton! She was so aggressive and even scored a few goals! Goooo Lucy! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
