Fall Food Night and other recent shenanigans...

Jesika, Jaymie, Celeste, Me, Angie, Aimee, Molly, Josie, and Heather

Jaymie had her 2nd annual Fall Food night a couple weeks ago and boy was it delicious! We had some delicious food, including the Caramel Apple Streussel cheesecake bars that I made... that also made Jenny cry. Good food is hard to come by in these parts...
Hilarious.
Everything was gorgeous of course, and I really really love these cute women!
I know I say this all the time, but for sure the best part of living here is all of these wondeful women! We are all here for a reason, and even though we are all SO different we are all friends because we are here! And I love them all so very very much. I know that had we moved somewhere else I wouldn't have made this good of friends- I sure love these girls to death!
We of course stayed up Waaayyyyy to late and had a pretty fabulous girls night!
In other day to day activities- Clara stayed home from church sick one Sunday and was NOT happy about it. She chose watching football over a nap- and that obviously went well for her.
And so have begun the weekend dates to Barnes & Noble...
Clara and I went to a little Art Class at the museum while Lucy was at pre-school a couple weeks ago. She had a blast, and I'm sure we'll be going back more often!
We had a cupcake date after at Sweet n' Flour while we waited for Lucy to finish with school! (The bakery that's in the same building as Lucy's preschool... dangerous!)
We had the first couple snowfalls! Brrrrr! I actually just wish it would snow already! It's pretty much too cold to go to the park, which in my opinion means it should be snowing at least 3x a week.
Clara's become my little tub buddy. I just can't seem to say no to that cute face!
Jenny and I have picked up a little extra gear to endure the cold dark morning runs! We gotta make it through the winter somehow! Haha!
The girls got their final Halloween costume touches in the mail from Grandma! Clara got her Minnie shoes, and Lucy got Candace's old witch skirt!
We've been getting outside as much as we can on those few sunny days!
and Lucy had her first starring role in the Primary Program last Sunday- Wink wink.
But she stood Loud and proud and said, "My name is Lucy Crosland and I am a Child of God!"
We practiced all morning. ;-) I sure love her. She was born for the spotlight!
(Please note her lollipop in hand. Lois is an older lady in our ward who is also known to all of the children as "The Lollipop Lady!" She hands out lollipops to every kid every sunday after church! She is my Visiting teaching companion as well, and is seriously one of the best people I know. She is now back in AZ for the Winter and you could sense the disappointment of all the kids today knowing that there will be no more lollipops until the Spring!)
This is how Tyler and I hang out after the kids go to bed... We're so cool it's not even funny.
and this cute bum has been helping me bake all this last week! I sure love her. Underware and pants are optional over here.
