February doings from my phone...

February was both the most amazing month ever- because of our fabulous trip to California and cute Lucy's 5th Birthday, and yet was pretty depressing. I was so so not looking forward to coming back to the cold after California, and it definitely didn't warm up! Haha. But alas, we have survived.

February started with the Olympics! My favorite thing ever! We went to a little Birthday party for cute Nixon the night of the opening ceremonies- so we left Lucy and Tyler there to play, and Clara and I went home to make sugar cookies and watch the big Opening ceremonies! She probably had the cutest day of her life- she had French braids for the first time, sat in her panties on the counter helping me with cookies while digging all of the purple candy hearts out of the candy jar. She's pretty much the most adorable thing ever.
These guys are pretty cute too! Happy Birthday Nix! Kylie, Braxlee, and Lucy
The next day was cute Norah's first Birthday! Our good friend Celeste and Taylor's little girl. She is just the sweetest thing ever- so tiny and cute! Just like a little doll!
I sure love love these beautiful girls.
That Sunday we spoke at the Rugby branch! Rugby is about an hour east of Minot and their Branch has about 20-30 members! Tyler and I were the only speakers, and they only have a 2 hour block of church. It was fun to be in a branch if only for the day. It's also totally in the middle of no where and it was clear, sunny, and yes- Freezing!
The many faces of sweet Clara!
 Love these two sleeping beauties...
We made it home from California and Clara got right to business... Minnie outfit, Jake sword, wings, and princess shoes of course...
She also got a haircut! It totally fits her personality- and it's finally all even! I love it!
I got to take Ice cream cones into Lucy's preschool class for her Birthday! Clara was on Cloud nine to be at her class!
Did I mention it's been cold? and how cute are these besties- Clara and Georgia!
Clara also single handedly ate all of the marshmallows from Lucy's party. Literally. All of them.
The day after Lucy's birthday party- was Eleanor's first Birthday and party! So fun! I can't believe this little cutie is already one! Jaymie had the cutest little circus party for her! All the kids performed and did 'circus acts'. Lucy of course jumped in and did her very own dance performance after Ivy did her ballet dance on pointe- Lucy copied the whole thing. So cute.
Jenny and I were of course over there way too late cleaning up, and up making Pizza? Haha. We were all starving after the party so Jaymie made us homemade pizza. Yum.
Clara also was having a hard time with all the parties and nothing for her- she can wait for "my party"!
Like I said February was a little blah.... The cold has just been so depressing this year! Seriously! We've been so busy with gymnastics, coaching, ballet, school, church, etc... etc... That its been nice to stay busy, but at the same time you can tell everyone starts to go a little crazy! I am counting down the days to get out of here! We're all just SO ready for spring. But I think we're supposed to make it in the 30's this weekend- Hallelujah! That means running outside- Hopefully. Fingers crossed. I know we're all just feeling like we've been inside for 3 weeks- which is ultimately the truth! Haha.
It's hard to complain when I know we are so blessed! We're just missing family and the sun! My mom comes to visit next week, then I go to California with her and my little sister at the end of the month. It can't come soon enough! I'm hoping we can make it home sometime in the spring- or go anywhere warm really... haha. But we'll see. We're happy to be here!
