Lucy's Frozen 5th Birthday!
Lucy's Ice Castle cake- Jaymie can take full credit for this one! She is the cake master- I mainly just helped dip things in chocolate! Haha.
I cannot believe my little Lucy is 5! It seems so old- she is definitely a little kid now. Sigh... To Celebrate Lucy wanted to have a Frozen party! Her cute friend Emma turned 5 the week before, so we joined forces and had a combined birthday party for the two of them! We invited a few friends from Pre-school and church to come over during the day for a little lunch and games!
Love my Princess Anna!
I got lucky and found some Frozen party supplies at our Party City! I heard they were sold out everywhere!
Clara's favorite was definitely the snowmen in a jar- I think she has single handedly eaten every single last marshmallow in that jar. Love her.
Jaymie also braided Lucy's hair for me! Lucy thinks any/all braids are Elsa/Anna hair. Wahoo!
Emma's mom Melissa brought 'Melted snowman' water, and ice-cubes (Jello!), she also did Lunch- bagel bites, carrots, ranch, and blue ice juice! I did cupcakes, cake, lots of candy, gum balls, and rock candy. Sugar was not lacking.
Ruby, Braxlee, and Julia
Eva, and Alize
Ethan, Clara (Who wears her Minnie dress non-stop), and cute Gwen
Georgia, Lucy, and Emma
Tyler came home for lunch for cake!
These girls had a blast playing Duck, Duck, Goose- per Lucy and Emma's request!
We also played 'Pin the nose on Olaf' per my awesome crayon drawing skills!
She got lots of Fun gifts! and I finally found an Elsa dress at Target! Wahoo!
I'm going a little backwards, but when she woke up that morning to tons of balloons, her castle cake, candy, and presents! We let her open one before dad went to work and she got an Anna Barbie!
After the party we moved everything over to the small table, so we could do cake that night. Lucy requested Pizza Pockets for dinner! Love her!
Can I mention Clara's haircut? I'm in love.
Lucy even let Clara help her blow out her candle again, and we dug into the cake!
She then opened the rest of her presents from us- a cute new dress, which I love that she is so excited about- Haha! And a big Frozen Coloring book, and the Frozen book, "A Sister Like Me".
I still can't believe my baby is really 5! Lucy is so so sweet. She seriously lives in her own world, and rarely pays attention to anything going on around her. Haha- which is both a blessing and a curse. If a friend/or mom is getting mad at her, or someone is being rude to her, Lucy really has no idea and loves them anyway. She doesn't hold any type of grudge ever, and is SO loving. She is SO excited to see everyone, and is just SO excited about life. She makes everyone feel so special. She has a huge imagination, which I'm sure plays in part to her living in 'Lucy land'! She is so much fun. Lucy has a bit of a temper, but whatever emotion she is feeling she gets it out, and then forgets quickly and is back to her old usual happy self. She can play by herself for hours, but every morning wakes up and says, "What are we doing today mom? Where are we going? Who am I going to play with!?" She has learned so much this past year, and loves books! She loves just sitting and looking at books forever, and would let someone read to her for hours if they would! She absolutely loves gymnastics and ballet, and every day dresses up and sings and dances around the stage to Disney and Primary songs! The girl loves to be on stage and the center of attention. Lucy loves going to church, and is always SO sad if for some reason she can't go to Primary. Lucy is also such a great big sister. She made a big sacrifice moving into Clara's bed to help her sister out! Clara was always scared at night, so we moved Lucy in there and it made all the difference in the world. I know Lucy misses her alone time, but she lets Clara snuggle with her and for the most part is so sweet about sleeping with her! Lucy and Clara are each others best friends. (Except for when they're not of course! Haha!) I'm so glad those two have each other. Clara worships her big sister, and Lucy is such a good example for her!
Happy Birthday Lucy Jane! We love you! And Remember you promised to stay 5 forever! ;-)

That is the cutest little party! Way to go! And she is such a darling girl!
ReplyDeleteLucy is about the sweetest child I have ever met. Hopefully we can protect her from the world and keep her that innocent, kind and loving forever. So glad she is in our family. I love Clara's haircut. So cute.
