End of Kindergarten and the start of summer!

Just playing catch up! These cuties had a blast on Memorial Day! We played at the park, rode our bikes to Sonic for lunch, and went swimming! Tyler actually had a real day off, and we had so much fun!
We finished up another year of Ballet!
 Clara enjoyed her last couple weeks home with mom! Walking to the park and playing while I run laps around the park!

 And we finished up another season of Soccer for Lucy!
Lucy loves soccer and has been on an awesome team this year! She has been dying to score a goal, and finally the very last game it happened! She was seriously over the moon excited! It was the cutest thing ever! Those 6 year olds sure are a lot more competitive than the 4 and 5 year olds! Haha!
 I volunteered to wash tables once a month at lunch time at the Elementary school and they had a cute program for all of the volunteers at the end of the year! Lucy got to come at the end and bring me a cute thank you card she had made. It was also Watermelon day at school, and she was SUPER excited to wear her watermelon outfit!
 And I love these two playing together. They're the cutest little best friends. They spend hours here coloring and playing! It's my favorite corner of their room.
Clara also learned to swim in the deep end last week! She's the cutest swimmer ever! 
 Lots of movie dates with daddy, and Clara gave her first talk in Primary! 
 The second to last day of school!
And the first day of school! She's grown up so much!
 And that night she lost her first front tooth! Oh Lucy! Her teeth are so crazy cute I can't even handle it!  
I took Clara in to get her Kindergarten shots! We were a little earlier than Lucy was, but you just need to be 4! I had to send in a vaccination form anyway for preschool this fall, so I figured we may as well kill to birds with one stone! She was so calm and almost excited to get her shots! It was so funny! Clara this ridiculously sweet, childlike side to her, and it's so hilarious to see it come out sometimes! She was like super polite to the doctor, answered every question perfectly, and just sat there on my lap sweet as can be. So funny and different from her spitfire sassy side! The nurses gave her this little party blower to blow on the count of three when they gave her her shots and so she didn't even have the chance to cry to say anything! All I got was a, "that hurt." when she was done! Then she was thrilled as can be to have her little goodie bag and stickers!
 And the last day of Kindergarten! I can't believe it's over!
 Clara and I went and helped with field day that day!
 They had so much fun! I still can't believe I'll have a first grader. Crazy! She has absolutely loved Mrs. Nelson, and we adore Edison!
 School ended Wednesday, and we got our first taste of summer today! Our outdoor pool finally opened, and the weather was perfect after raining all morning! I know where we'll be all summer! The girls had a blast playing with Ethan and Emma ALL day long! It was awesome! I can't believe summer is finally here! We leave for Utah on Monday, then Lake Powell and Bear Lake soon after! Yay!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
