Halloween 2015

Happy Halloween! It was such a fun, crazy week! I love love Holidays, but I was SO tired, and have never been so excited for a Holiday to be over! I was in charge of Lucy's class party, helped with Clara's, plus we had our ward Chili cook-off/Trunk or Treat, and our annual get together at the Jacob's Halloween night! The girls wore a different costume to everything, and had a blast!
 For our ward party Clara went as Little Red Riding Hood, and Lucy went as coronation Elsa.
It of course was the coldest night of the year, so trick or treating went fast!
 Clara went as a beautiful Cinderella for her pre-school party!
It was so fun to see her with all of her cute friends! There's only 7 kids in her class this year, and she absolutely loves it!
 Friday morning we met up with my friend Melissa and her kids to trick or treat downtown! They got a bunch of candy, and we even had time to grab lunch together before heading to Lucy's class party!
 Lucy was SO excited to wear her skeleton pajamas and be a skeleton for her school party! We made it in time for Clara to join Lucy on her little costume parade through the school!
 Lucy is so sweet to Clara and she's always included in everything! I'm so glad that party is over with! Haha!
 It was so nice having Halloween on a Saturday! The girls helped Tyler with some yard work, we frosted some sugar cookies, and they even got to paint their little pumpkins!
 We then rushed to get ready to go out Trick or Treating with friends over by Jaymie and Jenny's houses!
Lucy was Tinker-bell and Clara could NOT make up her mind and finally settled on coronation Elsa! Sheesh!
 cute Kami and Jaymie. At least Jaymie dressed up! She had this cool bird mask...and Heeley's... what more do you need? Haha? I did not have it in me to do more than the cat ears. I'm so original I know!
The kids had so much fun and we lucked out with awesome weather!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
