Life at home with baby Rex.

 
Life at home with baby Rex has been so good! He came home from the hospital really knowing his days and nights. He has been my best sleeper by far. Still up every 3-4 hours, and stayed up pretty late the first 6 weeks, but still slept so good! He's been my 'spitiest' baby, but still has chunked up so so fast! We had such a fun, yet crazy whirlwind few weeks! The girls are absolutely in love!
 
 My mom flew in a couple days after Thanksgiving. We had such a nice week with her, and she literally saved me! It was so nice not to have to get up to get the girls ready and off to school.
Also, there's nothing cuter than these two cute girls!

 Lucy and Clara's cute friends Emma and Ethan moved to Pennsylvania. So sad! Melissa and I moved in about 2 weeks apart, and have been such good friends. I'm so sad to see them go!
 This was bound to happen....

It finally snowed, so we got our annual sledding night in! Felt so good to leave baby at home for a bit and have fun!
 Tyler's work Christmas dinner! That one maybe fell into the category of too much too soon. Haha! But he sure is a cute baby!

These two are the cutest friends. They literally spend 6 days a week with each other. Between breakfast together before school, ballet together, ice skating together, and lots and lots of playdates. They're the cutest.
 Every time Tyler would hold Rex on his chest and he was awake he would try and nurse. He would seriously go from one side to the other. So funny!
 Lucy's answers to word problems are my favorite!
and Grandma Bonnie made it!
We're pretty lucky to have both Grandma's come and stay and help! So nice to have someone to hold baby so I could run to dance rehearsals, etc....
 
We're all pretty obsessed. I sure love this baby Boy!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
