April and Clara turns 5!

 Confession: I thought I had already downloaded all of my pictures from April to my computer.... so I deleted them all of of my phone... like 3 months ago... and had no idea... until today. Thank goodness for social media! Or I would have none at all! We had such a nice Spring this year! Tyler turned 31, and Clara turned 5! Rexy was the cutest 4.5 month old ever!
 Gymnastics Night of Stars! Lucy only did this Spring session so that she could do the Night of Stars! They both did awesome!
 We had a hotel gift card that we finally cashed in! A little stay-cation and Rexy's first swim!
 1st Grade Fairy Tale Ball! Cutest Snow White.
 3rd kid. First food was sweet potatoes off of mom's fork!
 Daddy's birthday! Our favorite in all the land!
 A quiet Spring Break at home! We had great weather and it was so nice to sleep in, play outside, and have no where to be!
 Finally drinking a bottle again! Hallelujah!
 We all got the 24 hour pukes! Boo! 
 For Clara's birthday date with daddy she got to go to the Circus! Lucky girl!
 She was spoiled rotten this year! New scooters from Grandma Bonnie for the girls just for fun, her much desired Horse for her doll, a new closet and backpack for her doll, and a new cute outfit and doll scooter from Grandma Carrie! Cutest 5 year old I know!
 Her first soccer game of the season was on her birthday with her dad as her coach! 
 AND... the day after she turned 5 she lost her first tooth! I'm so sad! I love her tiny perfect teeth and that huge grin! Stop growing up!
 We had a small party with her preschool friends playing at the park with pizza and cake! That's my kind of party! I even let her choose out her cake at the grocery store on the way there! HA! She loved it though! Cutest friends Luke, Asher, Ryken, Laiken, Lucy, Clara, and Georgia!
 We had one final birthday surprise.... we booked a SUPER last minute trip to Disneyland! Tyler set up a little scavenger hunt for the girls and of course when they found the final clue Clara got a paper cut opening the paper... It was just so classic. Lucy super excited and giggling, and Clara so mad about her finger... Next time, we'll just tell them when we show up there! Haha!

 Date night where I had to nurse Rex and was COMPLETELY covered (I usually don't bother anymore...) and I completely offended this older couple a few tables away. It was sort of hilarious how angry this lady was. Good times.
 and finally started on solid foods at 5 months old just in time for our vacation!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
