A week at Home!!

Ok so this week we were actually in Utah the whole week! Lets give updates in our lives....


Carly started school again... I was really not looking forward to it, but i really like my classes so far. I'm taking modern english grammars, and educational psychology. Both very interesting... I am doing like 4th grade homework in my grammar class, but i definitely needed the review. I am sure this class will get alot harder very soon... But so far so good!


Tyler is just working. P.S. i hate his work.. not really, but i'm jealous. He always gets free food! He gets lunch twice a week during their 'trainings' and breakfast if he goes in on saturdays. Plus tons of other little incentives. Lucky....


Carly got called to be primary president. I know you are all like... gasp!! but don't worry... we only have 3 nursery kids in our whole entire primary- total. So hopefully i can find some counselors and another set of teachers to help with the sweet three 18 month old kids! I will officially have to say goodbye to my calling on the friendship committee... tear.


Cheryl left for Germany!! Ahhh... so lonely already. I don't think you all realize i see cheryl everyday. well i should say SAW. she is now on the plane to germany and is gone forever. Not really... just until the middle of july. I truly am so jealous. I would kill to go to europe. for those of you who don't know my lifelong dream is to travel and/or live in europe. She has been like four times, me zero. Hate her.

We went and saw 'Made of Honor' last night. Cute show. Kinda like My Best Friend's wedding, but cute. Who doesn't love Patrick Dempsey and a good chick flick? I know i do. Honestly. It was good.


Dinner tonight at California Pizza Kitchen in Salt Lake with our dear friends Michelle and Marcus Smoot. Love them! Its so hard to find a good couple to get along with. We had so much fun and after dinner went to this little bakery in the avenues for hot chocolate, ice cream, and chocolates. It was amazing. My hot chocolate was like pure chocolate. Loved it. Love them, and can't wait to spend more time with our good friends this summer! Michelle and I lived together last year at parkway crossing and went to high school together. I love spending time with my best friends! We also ran into some kids we went to highschool with. Its so funny to think how much has changed in the past couple years.

    You are so cute! You love everything! except school...but that is an exception for everyone I think...I can't believe you guys went to lake powell already! Ryan can't wait to go when we get back in August...and what is Cheryl doing in Germany?? Ryan would also be jealous...that is where he served and someday we will go back together hopefully!

    Oh Carly! You and Cheryl are so funny together. You make me laugh. Does she even know how to use her blog? You guys can't just make her a blog right before she flees to Germany! anyways, I can't believe you have been to Powell already either, I am jealous!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
